Suddenly, someone behind us clears their throat.

Harry rapidly moves aside. Lottie stands right outside the door.

"Hey." I greet her in full embarrassment.

"Hey...Adam's asking for you Emma." Her eyes travel from my face to Harry's.

"I'm going." Gulping the saliva stuck in my throat, I then squeeze through the small space she leaves me to enter the house.

Lottie nor Harry follow me in, making me worry. Finally stepping foot into the kitchen, everyone is already seated around the huge table.

The whole family greets me in a very nice and welcoming way. I take the seat beside Adam. He turns to eye me fully from head to toe with a smile plastered.

"You look beautiful." He whispers into my ear as I then watch Lottie and Harry walk in.

"Thank you." I return a smile as a nice gesture.

Lottie sits to my left side. Harry sits right in front of me from across the table. I turn to stare at Lottie, but instead of giving me an intense glare like outside, she only smiles.

"Did you have fun today Emma?" Anne speaks up as she serves us with the help of Gemma.

"Yes Anne, I did." I reply, not knowing what else to really say.

"Nice! Where did my boys take you?" I suddenly feel everyone's eyes on me. My eyes focus mostly on Harry and Louis, who sit across from me. What do I say?

"Umm...well I...I don't remember the name of the place to be honest with you. What was it guys?" I turn it off to them to answer this since I don't know of much places here.

"We went to boondocks." Louis beams out.

"The arcade and race cars place?" Anne questions with a frown.

"Yeah, that place!" Louis winks.

"Oh nice! Did you like it Emma?" Anne questions further.

"Yes, it's fun." I smile at her, trying to sound as convincing as possible.

"How was cooking?" Changing the conversation, she quickly smiles.

"We had fun, right guys?" She watches Liam and Gemma.

"It wasn't so bad." Liam responds.

"It so was! You burned the cookies twice." Gemma begins to laugh at Liam.

"Anyways....how was it for you dad?" Liam also changes the conversation.

After dinner, Anne makes us all go sit in the living room. Her and Lottie disappear for almost ten minutes, but once they come back, they carry a lot of wrapped gifts.

"It's almost twelve!" Gemma squeals as she plays a Christmas cd on the large stereo that sits on top of the big tv stand.

Anne's mom serves each one of us a cup of hot chocolate. She then places warm, homemade cookies in the middle of the coffee table.

Geoff and Adam sit on the medium sized couch while having a very important work conversation.

On the large couch, Liam sits on one of the edges. I sit beside him in the middle and on my other side, sits Harry.

The small couch is where Anne sits on the arm of the couch beside her mom. Lottie and Gemma sit on the fluffy carpet around the coffee table.

Zayn, Louis, and Camely sit by the fireplace.
