The Instagram Session

You heard a knock at your door. You swiftly walked over and opened up the door. Sam was standing there, looking ever so dashing.

"Well, well," You said. "You sure know how to clean up."

He smirked, "And the same to you."

Sam stepped inside your house. You noticed him checking you out a bit. You were wearing a slim, strapless navy blue dress, and your hair was straightened.

"I just gotta get my shoes, Sam, okay?" You called, halfway up the stairs. You strolled into your room grabbing a pair of strappy sandals, and heading back downstairs towards the kitchen.

"Ready to go?" You ask Sam as you put your shoes on. He looks up from his phone and nods.

"Wait Dani, you wanna take an Instagram picture before we go?" Sam asked you.

"Sure, why not?" You answered.

Sam held his phone up high with his left hand, and tilted it down so the camera can see us. You were slightly behind Sam, peeking over his shoulder. He snapped the picture and showed it to you. Every one of your flaws seemed noticeable, to you.

"UGH! No, delete that picture," You said.

Sam deleted it obidiently and held his phone up to take another one. He showed you the picture afterwards.

"Ew, no! I look terrible!" You said. Sam deleted that photo, once again.

After, what seemed like, over 9,000 more pictures taken, you still hated how you looked.

"Come on, Dani," Sam said. "You look fine, I promise." But still, the pictures were deleted.

Sam held up his phone for the final time. Instead of smiling, you made a funny face at the camera. Sam showed you it after. It was not much better then the rest, but you let Sam put it on Instagram.

You decided that you actually did not look that bad. The picture was actually kind cute.

You unlocked your iPhone and tapped on your Instagram app. After your feed refreshed itself, you saw the photo Sam took of the two of you.

You smiled and rested your head on his shoulder. He leaned down and slipped a sweet kiss on the top of your forehead.

"You look beautiful," He spoke softly. "As always."
