"You just need to take deep breaths, and everything will be fine!" Sunset chuckled, reassuring Twilight who was stood in her dress, holding flowers, waiting for her cue. It had been complicated to arrange the wedding as Twilight wanted, not only her human friends, but her pony friends also. Eventually, all had been organised and not only had her pony friends turned up also, but Princess' Celestia, Luna, and Cadence had all decided to attend also. Twilight was further delighted to discover that her parents and Spike was attending, and after a little bit of persuasion he was allowed to walk down the aisle with her as well as the bridesmaids. Celestia requested to be the one to marry the two. Later, they would be registered to make it official.
To avoid confusion, they had purposely placed the friends on separate sides of the room so Twilight would know who was her pony friend, and who was her human friend. Despite this, she knew her friends were looking forward to some mischief and pranks, pretending to be who they're not. The next dilemma they had faced was the issue of bridesmaids. In the end, the pony friends were bridesmaids in the idea that they had known Twilight for longer, and were from her own world. During the many years they had gone through since high school, Twilight had become quite close to Sunset. They related a lot to each other, and in the end, she had even asked Sunset to be her maid of honour. The most surprising change of all was the friendship Flash and Fireshot shared. Fireshot had been asked to be the best man by Flash after becoming close friends through their hobbies and gaming. Any awkwardness had been cast aside, and all was forgotten.
"I am taking deep breaths!" Twilight grinned. "Still nervous!"
"Don't be." Sunset smiled warmly. "You look beautiful."
A chorus of Twilight's friends agreeing came from in front of them, as a few turned around to smile. "You're going to blow him away." Spike added.
Music filled the air, and Twilight's stomach began to knot, but she swallowed her anxious feelings, and began to follow her friend's through into the hall.
The hall was decorated red and white. The chairs had white covers thrown over them, a red bow tied around. Chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, filling the room with a gentle light.
Flash's eyes widened as they rested on Twilight, and he smiled at her to which she responded to with an instant smile back.
Within seconds, Twilight had reached Flash, and was standing in front of him, both of them holding hands as Celestia instructed everyone to take their seats.
"You look incredible." Flash whispered to Twilight before Celestia could begin.
"We are gathered here together on this day to witness and celebrate the marriage of Flash Sentry and Princess Twilight Sparkle." She began. "Marriage is a commitment in life, where two people can find and bring out the very best in each other. It offers opportunities for sharing and growth that no other human relationship can equal, a physical and emotional joining that has the promise of a lifetime. "
As the wedding continued, Twilight, and Flash's friend's and family all sat with looks of pride on their faces.
The vows came, and Celestia instructed them both to repeat her words individually after previously asking "Flash and Twilight, do you, with your family and friends as your witnesses, present yourselves willingly and of your own accord to be joined in marriage?" To which they responded with. "We do."
Spike had the rings which he had carried on a pillow in his mouth. Placing the rings on each other's finger's they both, one by once, spoke the same words. "I give you this ring as a symbol of my love and faithfulness to you."
After a few final words from Celestia, she announced. "Having pledged their fidelity to one another, to love, honor and cherish one another in the presence of this gathering and by the authority vested in me by the constitution and the laws of this state, it is my honor to now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
Leaning towards Twilight, Flash planted a kiss on her lips, Twilight responding without any kind of pause.
Friend's and family applauded, and smiled. Some of them wiping away a few tears which brimmed in their eyes.
Holding hands, Twilight and Flash began to walk back down the aise, waving and smiling at friends.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I thought this was a quite nice, sweet and simple wedding script.
I almost didn't finish this! I was caught watching Once Upon a Time, and creating videos for it!
Then I remembered to do this! Now I can go back to my editing.
^_^Merry Christmas everyone :)!!!!
