CHAPTER 16

Chris' pov

I started doing to opposite of what she told me to do because I thought she was just joking. I did this for about 5 minutes when I realized that Emily wasn't standing near me anymore. I looked around and saw Emily with a somewhat built man. He looked about 35 he had one of his hands on her thigh. She walked off with him and I started to follow them. I didn't follow too close so they wouldn't know I was there. I listened in on their conversation. "How much do you cost now?" I heard him ask her. "I don't know. I was coming to you for your price." I heard Emily say back to her. This really hurts me I don't like her trying to get back into his business. "Oh so you want back into my business? Is this what you're saying? Wasn't it you that ran away because you couldn't handle the stress and what you had to do?" I heard him reply and I could hear his smirk on his face. "Yes, that's what I'm saying. I know I ran away, but I can handle it now. I have one condition though." I heard her say. I can't believe she's actually going to do this. If he agrees to this I will be owned by a pimp too. What did Emily get me into? "I need the my weekly prices lowered." I heard her say. What is she doing? This wasn't apart of the plan. Wait is Emily protecting me? "You'll get more business. And make even more then before. That's a good idea. However, that's not how things work here. If you really want back into my business you will get over the amount of work you will have to do. Now lets try this again. Are you going to work for the price I give you?"

Emily's pov

"I just I need to get away from everyone. I um I guess I'm yours again." I said unsure of what I was doing I was in too deep I couldn't dig my self out of this hole I've already starting digging. "Good girl." He said while  he put his hand on my waist and took me out of the mall. How was I going to tell Chris that I was just leaving him? I forgot about our deal but its too late now. "Um hang on it I think I forgot my phone in a store I will be right back I promise. I mean after all I am the one that wants to come back." I said as I ran back in side to tell Chris goodbye. I saw him standing there just like someone had put a bullet in his heart and he died and came back to life. "Hey." I said unsure of what was wrong. Did he already know? "Hey." he said and I heard his voice crack as he said it. "Just go on." He said as he tried to hold back everything. "You already know?" I asked him feeling really bad about everything that had happened. "I've already lost you. Why not go let other men who you don't know have you." He said as his voice cracked once again. "Chris it's not like that.You haven't lost me. I just need to get away everything." I said trying toconvince him it was a good idea. "Yeah and go back to the life you ran awayfrom before and that you never told me about." He said as his anger camethrough his voice. "CHRIS YOU KNOW IT WASN'T LIKE THAT!" I yelled at him astears filled my eyes. I walked to the bathroom and cleaned up the makeup fromunder my eyes. Then I grabbed my phone from my purse. I walked out of the malland I noticed that Chris wasn't there I started to worry about what he wasabout to do. I walked outside to see Big Poppa sitting on a bench. I've neverknown his real name even though I was the closest to him personally. "you tooktoo long." He said as he gave me an evil glance and I knew something bad wasgonna happen. "I'm sorry I left it in the first store that I went into so I hadto go to all of them before I finally found it." I lied hoping he would believe me. "ohreally?" he said. He doesn't believe me I'm already in trouble and I haven'teven gone back to his house. "Yeah." I said as a tear came to my eye. "Welllets get going I assume that you bought sexy clothing for the men that wantyou." He said already thinking about that. "I did." I said after I swallowed alump in my throat. "Get in." he ordered me as he pointed to the midnight blackFerrari his voice was so harsh I had forgotten how hurtful he could be withoutout even saying something that would hurt me. "You were my favorite up untilthe night you left." He said as he began to drive. "Yeah I know." I said as Ibreathed in the cold air that I had. "Why do you want back?" he asked me all ofa sudden. "Huh?" I said more in shock then in confusion. "Why are you comingback to me?" he said once again. "I mean you were the only one that I ever hadto escape from me, so why come back?" I just sat there for a few seconds tryingto understand that I was the only one who got away. "I um, my, they are back."Was all I could stutter out. "oh so they hated you again." He said knowing mybackground. I might not have told Chris the whole truth. "Yeah they are actingjust like before. Which is why I went to you in the first place." I said as I thoughtabout what happened and what I told Chris.by now he had pulled the car over onthe side of the road. "What are we doing?" I asked him.
