Next day nothing much happened, I went to school, James to his own work.

We decided to come back home after our schedules, grandmother wanted us to have a "family" dinner together.

James and I are now having dinner with my "fake" mothers and they all acting "fake".

I couldn't care less about what was going on around me. All I did was play around with the food on my plate. I lost my appetite just looking at all these hypocrites acting all lovely and caring.

I stifled the urge to slap one of them in her face.

They were ugly enough to be happy about my mother's death.

Dad adored my mother the most. You could say she was the first he ever choose himself and not grandmother.

After mom passed away. I suffered a lot. All because of the way they treat me.

Even though I'm the official heiress they still treated me badly.

I never told dad because he has his own problems.

I also can't hate them that much. After all they are my siblings' mothers.

"Hey.." Someone poked my sides to get my attention.

I looked at him with a questioning look. "You were spacing off." He smiled.

His face was close. It's perfect.

What?!

What the hell did I just think, was I just being a pervert?

I shook my head to get these dirty thoughts away.

He chuckled "cute." He continued eating.
I looked at him, "excuse me?"

"You're blushing." He didn't even look me in the eye.

I cleared my throat and focused on my food.

"Thank you for the food." I got up.

"Wait. I'll come with you." James also got up.
"No, no it's okay. Continue your food." I tried to get him to sit and eat.

"I'm full don't worry." He smiled.

Beautiful.

Again with the perverted thoughts.

"Do you know that you are picking your dress today?" Father asked as he looked up from his newspaper to focus on me.

"Wh-" before I could even answer one of the fake 'mothers' decided to butt in.

"Honey~" she dragged the y, all I could do was cringe, "may I help her choose a dress?" She battled her fake lashes and had her hands under her chin.

I scoffed. James gave me a look and dad glared at me.

Meet Boonsri, my dads fourth wife. She's half Thai and half Korean. Her name means beautiful in Thai.

Her son is only a couple of years older than me, but we don't speak of him anymore. He decided to start a singing career and dad got really angry so he kicked him out of the house.

We did have fun when we were younger, but now we rarely meet.

She's trying to win dad's favor again.
Dad kind of started distancing himself from her too.

"I can choose my own wedding dress." I answered.

"But dear. You need a grown-up's opinion." She smiled sweetly at both of us. I try so hard not to hate her only for her son.
