" Go upstairs to your room, Faith" my mom shouted in the very few times I have seen her angry. She was always calm and you can hardly hear her voice in a high frequency. Maybe because this time she was discussing something with aunt Maggie and she definitely doesn't want me to hear. I looked at my dad when she gave the order and he nodded. I took this as a sign for me to leave. " She is going no where! We need to face the music hunni" aunt said in her high pitched annoying voice. I stopped to stay do bad and see what is the reason behind this intensed argument but my dad gestured to my room.
" Please, Maggie drop it! We got some packing to go!"
" She is not moving out with us to Canada, Amber. I won't let this happen"
" Why? Why don't you want me to have a happy life?"
" She is eighteen, Amber. You have to let her go!"
