~Alpha, we found a rogue~ Bret, my beta, mindlinked ~Its female~

~I'll be there in a minute~ I growled storming out of my house.

~Alright~ he said.

  Suddenly, something ran into me, looking down I saw a white wolf with bright green eyes looking up at me before it ran off.

~MATE!~ Greyson, my wolf, growled and I stood there in shock for a moment before running after her. I tackled her and she somehow wiggled out from under me and backed up to a tree growling at me. ~Why is she growling at us~ Greyson asked hurt.

~I don't know~ I said shifting and walked closer to her but Bret and Brady ran up.

  "Alex," Bret said stopping beside me. "Sorry, she darted past us before we could grab her."

  I glanced over at my mate and saw her roll her eyes. "Shift," I said loudly and she shook her head no. "No ones going to hurt you." she snorted and shook her head again. Growling a few words under my breath I went to grab her only she bite me.

  "She's feisty," Brady chuckled and I glared at him, until I heard movement behind me.

  "STOP!" I growled when I saw her backing up, she huffed and sat down.

  "Well she listened that time," Bret said as I grabbed a shirt that was hidden in a tree.

  "SHIFT NOW!" I demanded tossing her the shirt and she just cocked her head to the side and ran behind a tree.

  "You think she'll shift?" Brady asked.

  "No," I growled and shifted chasing after her.

~Catch her before she hits the river~ I growled at Bret and Brady, chasing after my mate.

~Yes Alpha~ they said and we ran until we lost her scent and I let out a hurt howl.

    After getting back to the pack house I yelled/ordered, "PACK MEETING IN FIVE MINUTES!" before I stormed into my office.

  "Son," my dad said as he followed me into my office. "What's going on?"

  "I found my mate," I said sitting in my chair with a huff.

  "That's great," he smiles. "Where is she? What does she look like?"

  "She ran off, I lost her scent after she hit the river." I growled, "Her wolf is solid white and she has bright green eyes. Why would she run from me?"

  "I don't know, Alex." dad sighed, "Everyone's in the meeting room. You tell them what you need I'll start calling the other packs, so they'll know to keep an eye out for her."

  I nodded and walked down the hall. "LISTEN UP!" I yelled and everyone got quiet, "A little while ago I found my mate, but she ran off and disappeared. Her wolf is solid white and has bright green eyes, if your doing patrol or are on a run and you see her contact me immediately." I walked out and headed back up to my office while Bret and Brady started asking questions.

  "Why didn't you tell us she was your mate?"

  "Yeah,"

  "I bet that was the power we felt around her?"

  "WOULD YOU TWO SHUT UP," I growled entering my office just as my dad was getting off the phone.

  "Cade, Kason, Darius, and Noah said they would keep a look out for her." Dad said and I nodded sitting down, "And the PURPLE ROSE PACK was attacked a week ago and the mark was left on the pack house door."

  "Son of a bitch," I growled. "What is he planning?"

  "I don't know," Dad sighed. "But from what Noah said it seems he looking for something or someone."

  "Question is who or what," I muttered and read the information on the attack. "He's getting close, if he hurts anyone else in this pack I will kill him."

  "Agreed," Bret and Brady said and I started working on some of the paperwork on my desk.
