*Alex*

  "Alwex," my little sister said pushing my office door open.

  "What's up, Dove?" I asked setting her on my lap.

  "Uncle Noah is hewe," she mumbled playing with the ears on her bunny.

  "Well then," I chuckled walking out of the office with her clinging to my neck "Let's go see what Uncle Noah wants."

  "Alex," Noah said when I stepped into the living room. "Dovie."

  "I don't like that name," she whispered and Noah pouted.

  "What are you doing here?" I chuckled.

  "I found her," he stats, but before I could ask Lucas, Noah's beta came through the door.

  "Ow," Lucas ground getting up.

  "Lucas," Noah asked shocked. "What happened?"

  "She's awake," he grumbled. "And not very happy."

  "Who awake?" I asked confused.

  "Found your mate," Noah said and I handed him Dove and ran outside.

  "BACK OFF," a beautiful brown haired girl growled glaring at everyone.

  "Miss calm down," one of my warriors said slowly.

  "CALM DOWN," she growled. "YOU WANT ME TO CALM DOWN. YOU FREAKIN KIDNAPPED ME AND YOU WANT ME TO CALM DOWN. HOW THE HELL WOULD YOU FEEL IF YOU GOT KIDNAPPED, UH?"

  "EVERYONE BACK DOWN," I yelled when I noticed another warrior sneaking up behind her. Everyone backed off but my mate turned and paled when she saw me.

  "You have got to be kidding me," she mumbled backing up a step.

  "Mine," I muttered standing in front of her, reaching a hand up to her cheek she flinched and I frowned. "Your safe here."

  "NO!" she yelled shoving me away and I flew back several feet. "I'm not going to be the mate of the person that killed my friends."

  "Honey," dad said walking over to her.

  "Who are you?" she questioned warily.

  "My name's Andrew," dad said holding his hands up. "I won't hurt you. What these boys did was wrong they shouldn't have kidnapped you, but why don't we take this inside." She stared at him for a minute before nodding.

~Bret, take Dove to the playroom and stay with her~ I told him.

~Alright~ he grumbled but did what I asked.

  After everyone was in my office dad asked, "What's your name, honey?"

  "Max," she said glancing around. "You have a small office."

  "This office is bigger than mine," Noah said and Max spun looking at him.

  "You drugged me," she said calmly looking him up and down.

~She should only be looking at us~ Greyson growled and I nodded.

  "I didn't like that," she said before striking her left foot out and nailing him in the balls.

  "Fuck," Noah squeaked hitting the ground and cupping his manhood.

  "Think twice before you do it again," she growled then she looked at me. "I don't get why you keep coming after me."

  "Huh?" I question, "I'd seen you until a week ago when you trespassed on my territory."

  "Lair," she growled. "You've been hunting me for years and you took my friends two years ago."

  "Wait," Dad said and Max glanced at him. "Did you see his face or his wolf?"

  "Wolf," she said. "I would never remember forget that night, I lost my friends to a monster."

  "What did the wolf look like?" Dad asked.

  "Why?" she asked confused.

  "Just answer, please." Dad sighed.

  "Black with red streaks," she shuddered. "And blood red eyes."

  "Well at least we now know who/what he's after," Noah said after a couple minutes.

  "What?" Max asked looking at him.

  "The wolf you saw was my brother," I sighed leaning against my desk.

  "Your brother? Why would he be after me? All I want is my friends back and to be able to visit my father without worrying about someone attacking his pack." she said confused.

  Two hours later, after explaining why we thought he was hunting her she just sat there in thought.

~What do you think she thinking about?~ I asked Greyson.

~I don't know~ he grumbled, suddenly there was a loud growl and everyone glanced at Max.

  "Sorry," she mumbled. "I haven't eat anything in a couple days."

  "Well it is lunch time," Dad chuckled. "Let's go see what we can find."
