You'd think Adrian would be the happy and relaxed on a getaway in Venice with his girlfriend...but at the moment, the Adrian Williams is grumbling and mumbling to himself angrily and kicking the gravel beneath his tattered navy blue converse.

"Adrian, can you please relax?" I sighed, grabbing his forearm with my left hand, "We'll be boarding the train in two minutes."

"I can't believe those scumbags tricked us! They stole my luggage, Ronnie!" Adrian's nostrils flared as he spoke sternly whilst clenching his jaw.

His rigid jawline was pulsing from his anger, and his usually swampy green eyes had become a few shades darker.

"This," He threw his hands up in the air, "is why I didn't want to have to change trains in Southern Italy. My Grandpa warned me about this. We should've just gotten a direct flight to venice!"

"Ruh-lax." I roll my eyes at the toddler tantrum he was throwing, "We'll buy you some clothes once we get to Venice. Stop ruining this trip, your mom sent us all the way here to Italy to have a good time together."

Adrian ran his hand through his light brown/borderline dark blond hair.

"You're right," he puffed, "sorry for the meltdown."

He shot me a sheepish grin, flashing his pearly whites at me. My stomach twisted as I slowly looked over him. Adrian's creased but tight dark green shirt brought out the hue of his eyes, and his low hung dark skinny jeans somehow complimented his now sun kissed skin.

"Babe, if you're going to check me out, at least try to make it discreet." Adrian chuckled, pulling me into him for a hug.

I placed my head in the crook of his neck, "Don't flatter yourself, Williams. I was just trying to see how long you'd last in your clothing until you'd throw another temper tantrum."

   Just a white lie.

"Shut up, I wasn't that bad." Adrian remarked defensively, his hands tracing down the sides of my waist to grip me firmly by the hips.

"It was pretty bad." I burst out laughing, and he eventually joined in.

I pulled away from the hug to appreciate the scenery around me. Travelers from all over the world were rushing past one another, all speaking in different languages and lugging their luggage around behind them. Trains were arriving and departing from the station, which was made completely of white marble and gold complimentary frames. The station was fairly clean, and a man started talking rather quickly over the speakers in Italian.

"What's he saying? Is he talking about our train?" I ask Adrian curiously.

He held one finger up towards me, signaling me to stay quiet so he could hear the man's voice on the speakers.

"Our train is now boarding on platform five. It leaves in twenty minutes."  Adrian says once the man stops talking.

"But look--" I point at the wall where all the departure times for each train were written, "it says that the train to venice on platform five is leaving now..."

Adrian and I exchange panicked glances, before picking up my two pink and white polka-dotted luggages and scrambling through the large crowd towards platform five. Luckily, the train hadn't left yet. We board the train with deep heaving breaths, and find our private seats in one of the coaches.

"Coach thirty-five. This is it." Adrian shook his head in disbelief and laughed, opening the wooden door to our coach.

"Are we sharing our coach with someone else?" I ask teasingly.
