Late during the night, there wasn't a single person outside there homes. At least not adults or young kids. Teens were out roaming the streets left and right. There was one teen. A jock as many would call them. He was well built and had the attitude of a mule. Stubborn as hell.
He enjoyed his night walk. Free from others. Free to be him. While he walked down a lonely street, freely dancing to a song he listened to, he spotted a slunched over figure down the way. Curiously, the teen go closer to it. He was confident in what he would find. Not even scared by what it could be.
He kept walking towards it. Starting to hear gnawing sounds and the sound of flesh being ripped off. The teen got up the thing. Finding it to be a human. Eating on a dog. The teen was outraged and disgusted so he kicked the side of the other man. flipping the cannibalistic soul over, where he screeched and groaned loudly. Breathlessly...
The teen started to yell at the man as it got up. Not realizing the danger of it until the man had gotten to close. And lunged at the teen. Taking a straight bite out of his neck.
The teen screamed and screamed until blood gushed from his mouthand open neck wound. Falling down and letting the dead man tear into his flesh and eat away. Like the dead man had done to the dog on the otherside of the teen.

Don awakes in a puddle of sweat and gasping on the couch. He had a nightmare of events before. Quickly taking the blankets off of him. He stood up and went to the kitchen for water immediately.Once he had his cup, he went back and sat down on the couch. Don looked around tiredly for the remote. Finding it and turning on the tv. The first thing on was cartoons. Don sat there and watched the cartoons. Hypnotized by them. It had been so long since he had even seen the lit up screen of a tv.
The time on a dvr box said 6:30. Don had sat there watching tv till 7:15. When Ezekiel wakes up. And the furst sign of this was the sound of footsteps in the hall to the bathroom. Then thr flushing. Then the soft sounds carrying into the kitchen. The tired teen searching for food. Like a mindless husk of a person.
Don: good morning!
Zeke: m-mernin...
Ezekiel yawned and decided to wait to eat. He went back his bedroom and started to get dressed for school. It was Wednesday, October 14. Soon Ezekiel emerged from his room with jeans, a blue jacket over a blue shirt, and a black backpack.
Don: woah where are you going so early in the morn?
Zeke: there is a thing called school i have to attend. If not my life is fucked because i didnt... So feel free to anything in the fridge. And if you go walking. Either meet me here or somewhere by the school... Or main street. Either way. I have to go sooo... Peace out yo.
And with that, Ezekiel had left out the door. Leaving Don alone in the house.

Ezekiel walked down his street. Getting on the main street intersection. He made a right and headed towards the highaway that ran through his small town. The town of Texhoma.Texhoma was small town. Not very big at all. But rather cozy. The houses were relatively nice. The whole area had a nostalgic feel to it. It was quiet often. Nothing would usually ever happen. Maybe an occasional ambulance sent out to help the local old citizens. It was peaceful, so calm, so serene.
That was except for the sounds of cop sirens, ambulances, & firetrucks all ringing out across the area. Ezekiel ignored it as he walked the 25 minute trip to the high school. Everything was quiet. No cars on the roads. No body was walking around. There was just the eerie sound of sirens.
As Ezekiel got across the highway intersection. He began to walk down main street and towards the public park. He squinted to see people jumping around in cloaks and dresses. Waving wands and wooden sticks around like they were actual weapons.
