Slowly Mistaken

Sorry I haven't wrote in a bit. I've been going through some crazy stuff!! Hehe yaaa well here ya go!!

I was running to Devins house. I had to say sorry. I was stupid. So stupid.
I kept running with tears streaming down my cheeks, wetting my dry cheeks and getting knocked off by the cold harsh wind. I had to keep running.

I arrived at Devins house and knocked. No answer. I knocked again.

" LEAVE ME BE!!! "
I knocked again.
" I WILL SHOOT YOU!! "

I step back away from the door. " Well then... " I muttered under my breath. I took out my phone and slowly put in the pass code to give him time to see if he will come open the door. 2.. waits... 3...waits....3...0.

Bloop!

My phone greeted me with a waterdrop and I called Devin from outside his house. I heard a muffled ringing in the house and then feet stomping. I waited and waited. It went to voice mail. I sighed.

KNOCK KNOCK!!!!!

I knocked again and then called at the same time. He picked up at the same time he opened the door and I said "Hey..." through the phone to him.

He dropped his phone and looked at me. He looked down and then back up. He looked messy but cute. He had a gray ruffled tee shirt on that said I'm Santa's Ho and he had in some sweat pants on. His hair was a brown mess and it looked sexy along with his blue eyes shining out from under it.

I took in a deep breath and held it.
"Angel what are you doing here? "
I let it out slowly." H-Hey "
I put my hand up and slightly moved it to the right as a small gesture of greeting someone.

" What are you doing here? " he repeated.
" To say sorry. I won't go see Kevin anymore. I won't let him touch me. I will move far away. Just be... Friends don't hurt yourself. I want you to be good and happy. I want you and Kevin to be friends and happy again. You... Are a good person. And I'm sure God wants you to be happy and to be friends with Kevin. May I come inside... It's kinda cold... "
He looked down at me with surprise in his eyes.

He let me in his apartment and it was warm. Monster cans where on the coffee table along with a pizza box. He sat on the couch and sipped his blue monster. I sat next to him.

" Where is Kevin at? "
" Probably looking for me. "
" He didn't bring you? "
" No. I ran here. "
" Are you hungry? "

My tummy rumbled. I suddenly was hit with hunger that I didn't have for 3 days and nodded.
"I haven't eaten for a while."
"How long? "
" 3 days... "
He looked at me and then opened the pizza box half full of pepperoni pizza.
I devoured 5 pieces and sat back on the couch on the other side away from Devin. He scooched closers to me and put his arm around my waist.
" I'm sorry Angel. I shouldn't have overreacted. "
" I'm sorry for wanting a 'death wish'"
He looked at me with a raised eyebrow then lowered it.
"I will be friends with Kevin again as long as you don't have any of those wishes"

I nodded and laid my head on his chest.

After a few minutes of talking I got off the couch and smoothed out my sweater.
"I guess I should be leaving now. "
Devin stood up and took my hands in his and squeezed them.
" Stay here. It's too cold outside. "
I nodded and sat down and fell asleep.

Sorry it was short. I didn't really feel like writing today cause stuff. But ya. I may not write for a while though but I won't quit writing. Just taking a break. :)
