Ugh. Why me? Why do I have to go too another school. Oh that's right I got kicked out of my other one. Why you ask well.... Long story short I broke a girls nose because she was making fun of me. So now I'm starting out fresh so maybe I can make friends this time.

"Charlie you have to get up" my dad said sweetly I groaned but got up because I already put him through so much trouble and my mom would have done the same thing if she didn't die of cancer a few months ago.

I got dressed into my blink-182 shirt, black shorts, my warn down converse, and to top it all off a black beanie. I grabbed my pikachu backpack and headed out the door. When I got to school everyone turned and stared at the new girl who would change schools half way through the school year. I just shrugged them off and kept walking to the office when I got there I grabbed my phone and went to my talking app "I need my schedule" I typed into it as it read my sentence "you must be Charlotte Hood" she said I nodded in response.

When I got my schedule I headed to find my locker which wasn't far. But when I got there, there were two boys and a girl standing in the way. I mentally groaned and got out my phone once agian "Excuse me" I typed into it. They looked over at me weirdly "you're at my locker" I typed agian they looked at each other "you must have the wrong number because this is my locker" a blue haired boy said "I looked at him and back at my paper and handed it to him "nope you don't they probably gave you the wrong locker here I will go with you to get that fixed" he said with a cheeky smile I nodded and followed.

"so why did you change schools in the middle of the year" the blue haired boy asked "long story short I broke some girls nose because she was making fun of me for being selectively mute" I typed into the phone. He nodded "I'm Mathew Clifford by the way, but your my new friend so you can call me Matt" he said that name sounded familiar but I couldn't place my finger on it.... "Charlotte Hood but you can call me Charlie" I smiled at him.

He looked at me "Is your dad Calum Hood" I looked at him funny how would he know my dads name "yes" I typed he smiled "My dads Micheal Clifford if that sounds familiar" oh my god that's why it sounded so familiar "your dads Micheal Clifford" I said out loud. I looked at him kinda surprised I said that out loud. He nodded "my dad has been trying to contact you guys for a while" I typed he chuckled "you should talk more your voice is pretty, and my dad dropped his and the rest of there phones in the water so we stayed in contact but my dad and your dad didn't" I blushed so hard when he said that. But continued to class that I had with him and it was also my favorite subject. Music.

When we entered all heads turned "Mathew your late, and there must be the new student Charlotte" he said I nodded and walked over to a seat by Mathew and the other two I didn't know "Charlie this is Ava and Chris" Matt said and I waved to them "Okay class you will be working in groups of 4 to write a song with instruments, good luck" he said and sat down we all looked at each other "okay Charlie I know your shy and everything but do you play any instruments and can you sing" and for the first time in forever I felt comfortable to talk so I did " I can play the bass and sing" I said to them they all looked at each other "sing" Ava said

I ended the song and everyone was looking at me I felt a little self conscious

"Was it that bad?" I Asked quietly everyone shook there head no "that was amazing" Chris said "we haven't had any good singers come to our school until now" Ava said "well unless you count us" Matt said I chuckled" we should start on our new song. (Not by them it's by 5sos just go with it)

By the end of the hour we were all done and ready to perform Wichita we had enough time to do.
