Jordan's POV

------------------

I stared out the window, waiting for a customer to enter the store.  It's been a month since I had this job and it was nice way to keep my mind off of school. With all the exams coming up, students are stressing the hell out and can't even admire the snow falling outside. Thankfully, I time to calm down and ease the stress at this small coffee shop.

It's not that far from my college, so I see some familiar faces from time to time. The store itself is designed like a cozy log cabin. It's all made of wood and there's a fire place in the back. Of course, we only light it when it's winter.

The snow falling outside makes the chafe look even more welcoming than it already was. The other people who work here are amazing. We're like family here. It's a home away from home.

The business today was fairly slow. To be fair, it is a Monday. On Mondays everyone wakes up later than usual and is late for class so they don't have time to stop by to have a drink.

I don't have classes until late afternoon, I sympathies for the people who have class early in the mornings. I'm thankful that I don't have to deal with anything like it.

I sighed and continued fiddling with the cash register until Sonja, my co-worker, came up to me.

"Hey, you bored too?" She questioned, leaning against dark oak desk.

"Yeah." I intoned my voice. She grabbed her phone from her pocket and started playing with it.

"You like the decorations on the Christmas tree?" She asked. I looked over to the left side and saw a fake pine tree with colorful lights hanging on it thousands of ornaments placed onto its branches.

"Yeah, looks nifty." I commented. She smiled and placed her phone down.

"Well that's because I did it!" She grinned proudly. I chuckled and shook my head.

"Yeah, yeah whatever." I rolled my eyes. She pouted and crossed her arms.

"You're being a butt." She spoke in a childish voice.

As I was about to make a smart remark, someone entered the shop. We both looked over to see a guy in a black hoodie and dark jeans walk into the store. I could see purple-ish, gray-ish hair poking out of the man's hood. The person was wearing sunglasses  so we couldn't properly see his face. He can up to the counter while Sonja rushed to the back. I quickly got into position so I can take the guy's order.

"Hi, welcome to Ianite's Cafe. Is there anything you'd like sir?" I put on a fake smile and waited for a answer.

The man pulled his hood back and took his sunglasses off. The moment they were off, I felt like something was forced into my heart and burst it. He was the hottest guy I've ever met. I tried my best not to faint on the spot. Once he set the glasses aside he looked up at me and smirked.

"I've never been here before, what would you recommend, cutie?" My face burned and my stomach started doing backflips as he continued smirking. My heart was beating loudly in my ears, to the point where I can barely hear myself think. He must have been entertained by the expression I was wearing on my face. I searched for words for form a sentence, never had that been so hard to do in my life.

"U-Um, i-it really depends on, uh, y-your personal taste." I stuttered out. Mentally scolding myself, the man put a hand on this chin, looking like he was thinking.

"Well, since it's almost the holidays, any sort of coffee that'll get me in the holiday spirit?" He questioned. I tried thinking of a drink that is festive. My brain clicked and oddly enough, it was my favorite drink.
