Chapter 7: I Love You

After school, Mathis knocked on Lucy's door. Emily answered the door. Her bored expression turned into a smile. "OH LUCY! YOUR BOYFRIEND IS HERE~!" She yelled. Lucy came around the corner. "He's not my boyfriend! Get outta here brat!" Lucy grabbed her little and dragged her into a different room.

She came back to the door and tucked a few strands of hair behind her ear. "What do you want?" Mathias took in a deep breath. "Do you want to go for a walk with me? I just wanna talk." Lucy narrowed her eyes and closed the door.

A few seconds later she opened the door. "Fine." Mathias smiled as she walked, closing the door. Mathias started walking and Lucy walked next to him.

"What do you want to talk about exactly?" Lucy asked. Mathias sighed. "Do you like me? I know you said you didn't but...you were jealous about me talking to other girls...weren't you?" kucy looked away. "...I was jealous..." Mathias nodded. "Do you like me?" After a long pause, Lucy nodded. "Will you kiss me? Not out of jealousy...?" Lucy nodded again. She then put her arms around Mathias's neck and kissed him, standing on her toes to reach him. Mathias smiles into the kiss and puts his hands around her waist, kissing her back. She pulled away with a smile. A big, real, beautiful smile. "I love you, fucking idiot." "I love you too Lulu." Mathias said, smiling in return. Lucy blushed slightly and laughed as Mathias picked her up.

The two were right in front of Gilbert's house, where he could get a good view of his friends success. Gil smiled and took a picture. "Good job Dan...fucking finally."

"Will you be mine Lucy Bondevik?" Lucy smiled softly and nodded. "Yes."

Emily was standing outside watching with a small smile. Her sister was finally happy again.
