I woke up in a haze, I guess I had passed out when I saw the horrific scene. I was never a morning person. Was it morning? It was pitch dark outside. I heard a fire outside. So I went to investigate it. I scrambled out of my sleeping bag and realized I still had my cloths on. My shoes and socks were at the foot of my air mattress. So I crawled to them and on top of the left shoe was a note.

"When you get up, we all are by the fire. Come out when you can", James handwriting read.

I slipped on my socks and shoes and went outside.

"Your finally awake", James said.

"Yeah, what happened. I remember coming to see the camp messed up, and complete darkness" I said.

It was then I realized Chuck and Jennifer were out here to. Jennifer was on Chucks lap.

"What woke you up", Chuck asked.

"I'm not sure. I guess it was just one of those times where you wake up naturally", I said.

"What happened anyway", I asked rubbing my neck.

They looked at each other.

"Me and you walked in the camp with the blood everywhere. Jennifer came in and had a meltdown", James looked at her, "And you fell and passed out. I then picked you up and put you in your sleeping bag and left you", James explained.

"Well why was I out for so long, and why do I have a headache", I asked.

"Yeah, when you passed out, your head hit a root in the ground", He replied.

"Oh", I said, rubbing my neck.

"You wanna sit down", James asked, pulling up a chair.

"Yeah, thanks", I replied and sat down

The seat was cold. Obviously, no one had sat in it. The purple legs shimmered in the firelight. I looked at the blazing flames. They were absolutely beautiful. Scorching hot I bet. Just burning there. At least they don't have to worry about a blood thirsty killer on the loose. And with that last thought I got to thinking bigger. If there is a cold hard killer, then why haven't we started walking to leave. At least we would get a head start to being away from here.

"Hey, why haven't we at least try to walk out of this mess", I asked.

"Well, we really don't want to be in the open", James replied

"We kinda already are", I said.

"How so", James asked.

'Well, for starters, what happened to Jack. And when he was chasing me, I got his machete, where is it now", I replied with confidence in my voice.

They all nodded in agreement.

"Well, it is late anyway, and she is right, What are we going to do? Wait here until we die off one by one", James said.

"Yeah, we should", We all said.

"So, when we wake up, we will eat breakfast and take showers, boys in the boy showers and girls in the girls showers. Everybody, sleep no later then eleven o'clock", James said.

I could tell everybody didn't want to get up that early, considering it was midnight right now. So we all went to our tents, got in our sleeping bags, and fell asleep.
