It was the Friday before July 4th...You were sitting at the kitchen table watching old videos of you and your best friend, Austin Mahone. You were like in love with him, but of course you didn't tell him, you were positive he didn't like you back!! You wouldn't want to ruin your friendship with him.
Anyways...your mom comes home from work and sets her stuff down immedietely and says: "(Y/N), I think we should have a 4th of July party for just us and our 'good' friends!!" (by that she meant Austin's family...your moms were also the best of friends and they always had each others' backs for almost your whole lives!!)
You: "That would be awesome!! Mom, please tell me you're serious!!"
Mom: "I am being serious, so we'll have to go by everything we need tomorrow and Sunday, okay?"
You: "Yep!"
*You were so excited that you just ran up to your room and started blasting music* You didn't know why you were so excited, you figured because Austin would definitely be there, but he literally lives right next to you, so you could see him whenever you wanted to, but you felt that something special was gonna happen, you just didn't know what...

Thursday, July 4th:
Finally, today is the party!!!! You thought to yourself while you were waking up. You didn't wake up that early because you and your mom already finished decorating and stuff yesterday. All you had to do was get ready.
~~Skip shower and hair and getting dressed~~
You were finally done getting ready. You looked in your mirror and actually thought you looked good which is rare because you're an insecure girl.
You were wearing a cute summer dress with cute shoes and as for your hair it was long and wavy and over one shoulder.
You walk downstairs to see your mom and Michele talking and getting snacks ready. You panic at first wondering if Austin is wandering around somewhere, until they notice you, and your mom says: "There you are honey!! Why do you look so pretty?!?!" *She nudges Michele's arm*
You: "Oh...uhh...I-I thought this dress was real summery and stuff!!"
I knew they could tell I did it for Austin...they always noticed I had a thing for him.
Michele walks over to me and says: "It"s ok, you look beautiful and Austin isn't here yet *winks* he wanted to wait until the crew came to his house, first, so he could make a big entrance and impress you, oh, but don't tell him I said that *winks again*!!"
You: " haha thanks :)"
*thinking* So, Austin wants to impress me?!?!?!?
You help them put all the snacks out and get the stereo out and see if any decorations need fixing.
~~4 or 5 minutes go by~~
The crew yelling: "We're here!!!"
Surprisingly you get more nervous than you'd thought you'd be. You wonder if you did too much with your outfit and Austin will definitely notice you're trying to impress him.
You pretend you didn't hear them (which was impossible, but you do it anyway) and keep organizing food on the snack table.
When all of a sudden you scream because the crew just appears from around the corner and starts yelling and that catches you off guard.
They scared you so much that you were panting and felt like you were gonna have a heart attack.
Austin: "omg, (Y/N), we didn't mean to scare you that bad!!"
