(It was the second week of school, and the gang was returning from the canteen)
Violet's POV
I borrowed a 'Yawi" anime book, so Erza, Rosemary an I were reading it when we saw Sophia walking up to us. "Don't show her. She can't see it.", hisses Erza. I hid the book away and we started talking about something else. She us a look, a look I've never seen before and walked away. She knew we were hiding something, she's no fool.
Sophia's POV
Things have changed from the past two weeks. Whenever Rosemary had a problem, the first person she would go to was me. But now, she's been spending a lot of time with Jolene lately. Now, nobody talks to me and I eat and sit alone. I'm alone almost everyday now. I'm the lost soul.
Violet's POV
I have no idea why Sophia is Rosemary's best friend, but she's definitely no friend to me. She's loud, weird and awkward.
Jolene's POV
If you're asking me, Rosemary should never have agreed to be Sophia's best friend. Whenever she eats, I pity the floor that's gets dirty. Seriously, she eats like a pig. "This is how I eat!!", she says. She's not that smart too, so she's below my league.
Mable's POV
Sophia? She's o.......kay, by my standards. The thing is, she's too loud, and I don;t do loud. She tells ridiculous jokes and screams practically all the time. Her mom and my mom are BFF's, have been since first grade. Sophia and I, not so much.
Erza's POV
Sophia's cool and all, but sometimes she doesn't know when to take it seriously. When to cut the slack. That girl is god-damn annoying!!
Rosemary's POV
Sophia........(Sigh). What can I say? She's my best friend.Sometimes, I wonder whether I( made the right choice, choosing her. She's more attention-seeking now, more than ever. No one knows why. More annoying conversations, more stupid jokes. She is really getting on everybody's nerves, it's very obvious.
Anyway, we were eating yesterday, Sophia was telling us one of her corny jokes. You could literally see everyone's eyes twitching and sighing. So, I end their misery. I glared at Sophia and I yelled at her(Which I have never done before)"Why are you so annoying, Sophia?! Can't you leave us be?!
Sophia's POV
Silence. Everyone looks at her weirdly, because Rosemary never shouts at me. NEVER. But I never betray my principles which is "Smile always, especially when you're sad.", so I choked down a sob and laughed at her. "Jeez, chill down, Rose. Omg, I have to go to the bathroom, you guys head to class first ",I told the gang.(Notice how I said 'the' and not 'my') When I reached the bathroom, I locked the door.
Instinctively, I slid to the floor, bring my knees to my arms and I broke down. I cried, cried and cried. Like there was no one here except my unavenged tears and I. Class could wait, the world could wait. I ran out of school and took a taxi..........
