Sophia's POV
I took a taxi to Half-Blood Hill. And yes, to all Percy Jackson fans, I'm a half-blood. I'm a daughter of the "Earthshaker" aka Poseidon. For some reason, when he sired me, I had almost no scent but the power almost equivalent to my big bother, Percy Jackson! Almost all the newly-sired demigods end up like this. There are occasional monsters who attack, but so few and so rare, yet they are always the dangerous ones.
I walked up the hill and saw a dragon surrounding a glowing pine tree. Thalia's tree. She's probably out with her Hunters of Artemis. I patted Peleus on the head. "Hello, Peleus. Guarding camp well?", while the Golden Fleece shimmered on Thalia's tree. The fleece was emitting the glowing.
Percy's POV
The Poseidon and Athena cabin were training together. Annabeth and I were sword training when we saw Sophia. "Hey,Soph! What's up?", asked Annabeth. She looked down and Annabeth said,"Percy, could you help me check on my schedule?". There are a lot of things she tells me but not much she hides. I knew they needed to be left alone . "Bye, Soph!", I called to them.
Annabeth's POV
"I'm having girl-friend Problems, Annie",she whispers using the nicknames very few dare to use. Nothing scares her, except her fatal flaw. "The fear of being alone or isolophobia.",Chiron said. She would do anything, even destroy the world to have company. As weird as it sounds, maybe that's why she's Percy's sister. Nobody says" Oh, your Percy's sister!" To them, she's always Sophia Daves Watson. She's earned her rep and she deserves it.
"Come on, let's ask Chiron first.", I comfort her. Because I know what she wants, what she needs to do, even though the idea terrifies us. The Oracle. The skeleton that sits on a stool up on the attic in the Big House, host a prophecy-reading spirit, the Oracle Of Delphi.
We head to the Big House to see Chiron playing pinochle with Mr.D, or known as Dionysus(The god of wine and some forms of madness) and some cards are floating in the air. "Well, well, well. If it isn't Snoopy!", Mr.D chirped. "It's Sophia, Mr.D",she answers patiently."Whatever.", he grumbles and turns his attention back to his cards.
Chiron's POV
"Is there any problem?", I ask Sophia. "I need to consult the Oracle.",and she looks into my eyes, daring me to question her. "I have seen such bold eyes in only two people. Perseus(Percy) and her. "Very well, we shall discuss what you have heard, assuming you are still sane.".
Sophia's POV
I head to the Big House attic. I've heard of campers going insane after hearing their prophecies. Some even died from insanity. Who knows what the heard? Suddenly, the skeleton bellowed green mist ans said,"I am the spirit of Delphi, speaker of the prophecies of the Phoebus Apollo, slayer of the Might Python. Approach seeker and ask.". "I need help with the mortals:, I answer bravely, even though I'm practically shaking everywhere. "Long ago, Samantha, a daughter of Aphrodite(Who, BTW is the goddess of love, fashion and beauty)asked for this. Her fate was miserable until she drowned herself.
Once true friends never alone,
A soul of six broken to two,
One of them blinded with rage by others,
And the lost soul suffers the fate of doom.
The Oracle has spoken. I've practically heard have the words before but they sound so new. I head down to meet Chiron and Annabeth.
Annabeth's POV
When Sophia came down. it was hard to miss her pale face and shaking fists. Once she arrived, she recited the prophecy. Chiron thought for a while and said,"Sophia, why don't you stay at camp for a few days. I will call our mother to let her know your here." I swear her face brightened when he said the word 'camp'.
Sophia's POV
Camp Half-Blood!!! Don't get me wrong, I love m step-mum and yes, m friends are tolerable(As if!). But Camp Half-Blood is m real home with real friends. Looking at the strawberry plantations, the lava climbing wall,Clarisse fighting with Lee Fletcher,an Apollo kid makes me smile.
Here,we are all equals, with only different parents and powers. Nobody's mistreated. Oh, no! Today's the first day of camp and cabin inspection is going on. I gotta go help Percy. We hardly get first place.
Percy's POV
Tyson and I were cleaning the bed bunks when we saw Sophia come in. "Sophia!!!", bellowed Tyson happily. "Hello Percy, -Ow- Tyson! Easy on the ribs, big guy!", croaked Sophia. Right on time, Soph. Let's not get last this month.", I said.
Tyson was hanging a sea water ornament which he made at the Cylops forges and Sophia was making the bed bunks. I was taking out the garbage when Silena Beauguard, a daughter of Aphrodite came and took our score.Once all the cabins were done with inspection, Chiron announced the results. Obviously, Aphrodite won followed by Poseidon(Thank the gods!) and then Athena.
Once we finished showering and getting ready, I led the Poseidon cabin to the dinner table where we had dinner. After dinner, we walked to the campfire and sang a few songs, led by Lee Fletcher.
I looked at Sophia, laughing at something Tyson said. Her face looks so serene, so lively you could almost imagine she lived a hell of a life. For some reasons, the Fates seem to be spinning our live with barbed wires instead of thread to see how much two demigods could take. Finally, the songs were done and we were standing u to get back to our cabins. Then, the campfire exploded.
***Cliffhanger, so sorry but I love you guys!!! I'm already considering Sophia having a boyfriend, but I need a name. An amazing , unusual one. If you have any cool ones, please let me know. And by the way, This fan-fiction is going on between the Battle of the Labyrinth and The Last Olympian. But it's going to be a long time before Kronos fights back. Ciao!***
