Restarted Memories ~ Puzzles

(Y/N)'s (e/c) eyes blinked open. Everything was blurry at first, but she knew she was in Sans room right away. It didn't take her long to spot Sans in the room. She used her unhurt arm to push herself up in the sitting position, which caused some pain to shoot up from her hurt shoulder. Sans turned around, seeing that (Y/N) was up.

"Take it easy kid, you are going to need some rest." He says, walking over to gently pushed her down onto the bed, which didn't really work, since she was hurt and that made her a bit more stubborn than normal. She continued to get off the bed, ignoring the slight amount of discomfort in her shoulder.

"Thanks for getting my call, Sans." She says, looking over at the still slightly concerned skeleton.

"No problem." Was the only response (Y/N) got. She knew it wouldn't be wise to start asking questions on what happened after she passed out, so she didn't.

"Do you have to go to work today, Sans?" She asks instead.

"Nope. Why? Is there something you would like to do?"

"I want to get my house back to normal." (Y/N) says and starts to walk off. Sans chuckled, quickly following her.

"GAHHH! Why is this so difficult?!" (Y/N) let out a frustrated scream, a defeated groan following soon after.

"What's the problem?" Sans walks into the room (Y/N) was working on, seeing her sitting in the middle of the floor, staring at a piece of paper.

"This stupid Junior Jumble puzzle! I can't figure out this word!" (Y/N) groans, pointing to the word she was working on. Sans chuckles, watching her trying to figure it out like her life depended solving the "puzzle". Sans took the piece of paper from her hands.

"Let me help, kid." And with that, he ripped the paper up.

"Whaa--?! Wait.... did I just spend 20 minutes on that for nothing?" She asks, looking up at him.

"Yep." Cue in more frustrated screaming. Sans chuckles, watching (Y/N) flop down onto the ground. "I know what would make you feel better." Sans says, sitting on the ground.

"What?"

"Why are skeletons so calm?" Sans asks, smiling happily.

". . ."

"Because nothing gets under their skin!" He finishes, laughing at his joke. (Y/N) turns her head so she was looking at him, trying to fight a smile and giggle. "Also, that was the last puzzle in the house." (Y/N)'s eyes lit up and she practically tackled Sans.

"Finally! Thank you so much, Sans!" She says happily, hugging Sans tightly.

"No problem, kid."
