Restarted Memories ~ Nightmares
It had been a week since Sans brought (Y/N) in from the cold. She still didn't feel all that great, but was feeling a bit better than she was before. Sans did his best to take care of the (h/c) female, with the help of a few others. He decided to go to Grillby's and get (Y/N) a burger. He has walking to Papyrus' sentry station, just to check up on him and make sure everything was okay.
"SANS! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO STAY HOME AND TAKE CARE OF (Y/N)" Papyrus exclaims, seeing his older brother walk over to him.
"I went to get some food." He says.
"THEN WHY ARE YOU HERE?" Papyrus asks, confused.
"Just wanted to see if everything was okay, something isn't sitting right in my bones." He says with a wink.
"SANS! WELL, IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO TELL JOKES THAN YOU SURELY HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO RECALIBRATE YOUR PUZZLES!" Papyrus replies. Sans chuckles.
"Sure, Pap." He walks off, going to his sentry station.
(Y/N) woke up from a nghtmare. She closed her eyes tightly, whining quietly into her pillow. She was still not feeling great and the nightmare was bothering her. Sitting up (Y/N) looked around. She was still in Sans' room, but Sans himself was nowhere to be found. She got up, this time not taking the blankets with her. She made her way to the living room, noticing neither of the skeleton brothers were home. They must be working or something. She turned on the T.V, trying to make time go faster.
The door slammed closed, causing (Y/N) to jolt awake. She looked around, trying to see what caused the noise.
"Ah, sorry, (Y/N)." Sans apologies. He walks over, handing (Y/N) two bags. She looked up at him confused and he sat down next to her, smiling happily. "Go on, open them." (Y/N) nods, and opens the first bag. She smiles, picking up the burger.
"Thanks, Sans! I was getting hungry." She says and was about to take a bug bite from it, only for Sans to stop her.
"Open the other bag first." He says. (Y/N) slightly glares at him, but does what he asks. She opens the bag, pulling out a small (favorite animal) stuffed animal. It causes the (h/c) woman smile.
"Aww, it's so cute and funny looking!" She giggles, hugging it tightly.
"It comes from the human world, Undyne found it. She didn't know what to do with it, so I asked if I could have it." Sans says scratching his cheekbone lightly. (Y/N) hugs Sans, the kisses him on the cheek. Sans' eyes widen, a blush starting to spread. "(Y-Y/N)?" He looks at her surprised. (Y/N) pulled back.
"Err, sorry.... I don't know what came over me..." She mumbles, a hint of sadness in her voice, as if she was disappointed.
"Is something wrong, (Y/N)?" Sans asks worriedly. She sighs, slouching back onto the couch.
"I just.... had this really weird nightmare..." She said. "Well... dream... and a nightmare... it's really weird."
"You can talk to me if you need to." Sans replies. (Y/N) takes a deep breath.
"Well... there was this human and they kept... resetting the world... sometimes they would be our friend and we would all be happy... sometimes they would kill us all... then they would reset and the whole thing will start over agian. Sometimes.... sometimes you and I would start dating... oh this is sounding stupid now..." (Y/N) groans, she turns to look at Sans, who was looking all her, eyes wide. "Sorry... I shouldn't have bothered you with that stupid stu-" She was cut off by Sans wrapping his arms around her.
