You guided your boyfriend hand in hand around the abandoned looking library. Nobody visits the cozy library anymore and gave you the perfect time to take your boyfriend there. You ran your fingers over the spines of the books while walking down the large isle. You suddenly stopped and gasped softly. Shadow almost ran into you, stopping himself to find you grabbing a book out of the shelf and blowing the dust off of it. Your eyes widen at the text and warm colored pictures that were covering the pages. You flipped the pages as if they were going to fall out with the softest touch.

"This was one of my childhood favorites." You whispered softly and hugged the book to your chest. "My mother used to read this to me every night." You whispered again and took in the old book smell.

Any random person that didn't know your past, would call you crazy for being this excited for a simple old book. But Shadow knew that your mother passed away a couple of years ago and knew this story was very special to you. He smiled softly and read the title. He heard you boost about this book but never knew the exact backstory behind it. He wasn't much for books but seeing you this happy over a book, he could definitely learn to love books. He wrapped his arms around your waist and placed his head on yours. He looked down at the book and smiled at your excitement for finding this book.

"Get it."

"W-What?" You turned around with a confused expression written on your face.

"I'll buy it for you since it's important to you." He said and you shook your head.

"No, I can't buy a book from a library. It just feels, wrong." You said about to place the book back but it was grabbed out of your hands.

"(Y/N), the least I can do is give this place a donation and make you happy. It's a win win." He said while a smile grew on his face.

"Thank you, Shadow." You whispered into his neck while hugging him.
