I'm here for you

~Next day~
Ian just got home with Madison a few minutes ago and I'm cooking dinner. In three months is christmas and I want to know what Madison wants.
"Madison. Ian. Dinner is ready." They nod and take place on their seats.
"Madison?"
"Yes Mommy?"
"Do you know what you want for Christmas?"
"Yes but Santa can't bring me that."
"Why? What do you want baby girl?"
"A baby sister or a baby brother." I look at Ian and storm into our bedroom.

(Ian's Pov)
"Daddy have I made Mommy sad? I'm sorry I didn't meant  to."
"No Madison it wasn't your fault but Mommy has a hard time right now."
"I'm sorry Daddy."
"It isn't your fault baby girl. But why do you want to be a big sister?"
"Because when Mommy and I are outside we always see little kids and they have so much fun with their sibling but I haven't a sibling. Why Daddy?"
"It's complicated. Can you go upstairs while I talk to Mommy?" She nods and runs upstairs.

(Lucy's Pov)
I sit in bed and cry my eyes out as I hear a knock on the door.
"Can I come in?" I nod and Ian walks inside.
"Lucy? Are you mad at Maddie(her nickname)"
"No I'm just frustrated."
"Hey everything will be alright. And I hope you know that I am always here for you" I nod and cry into his chest. I hear a knock on the door and Madison walks in.
"Mommy I'm sorry if I upset you."
"It wasn't your fault Maddie. Come here and we can cuddle." She nods and runs towarwards me. I'm so happy for my little family and Maddie always knows how to make me smile.
