~one month later~
Today is Christmas day and the day we decided to tell Madison about the baby. Yesterday Ian and I went to the Doctor and everything looks fine.
"Morning Ian. Merry christmas."
"Morning. Merry christmas to you too bae."
"I'm going to take a shower and come back then." He nods and I walk into the bathroom.
I just showered and when I come back to our room I see Madison in our bed with Ian next to her.
"Morning Maddie."
"Morning Mommy."
"How long are you here?"
"I don't know." I go back into the bed and cuddle with her and Ian. After a long silence Madison asks me.
"Mommy?"
"Yes baby girl?"
"Can we see if Santa came?"
"Yeah we can but first we have to eat breakfast and then you can open your presents." She nods and runs downstairs. When we finished eating breakfast and after Madison opened her presents we will tell her about the baby and I wonder how she is going to react.
