Beyond the cavern

The cloak

I woke up the next morning. The caves were still as dark as I last saw them. I looked over to my right and Sean was gone. I looked around and heard footsteps down the cave I ran over with mac's flashlight following the noise. I saw Sean and Mac talking to each other. I walked in and Sean said "good morning Elliot. How are you feeling?" "Um I'm fine. Thanks Sean. How are you? "I'm doing well. I'm trying to help Mac sort out his supplies. I'll be right back I need to grab my helmet. Sean walked away into the other side of the cave. "Sean seems happy."Mac said. "Yeah I guess he's feeling better." I said. " we should...." "Ahhhh " we heard from the other side of the cave. Mac went running and so did I. When we got to the other side we saw Sean looking down. He sounded like he was sobbing. " what happened?" I asked. As soon as Sean looked our way we saw him. Jean was lying their dead. "He must have died of thirst" Mac said. Sean ran off back to our camp. I ran after him and caught up. "Sean listen to me. I'm sorry about Jean but we have to keep going." He looked at me. " I let another man die in my hands." "Calm down Sean you had no control over what happened to him" he sat down and said " your right. I'm sorry. We have to keep moving. "  "good." I said
Let's get by the fire and warm up.

We were all by the fire looking at each other. Mac seemed fine but when I looked at Sean I saw something in his eyes. He kept a happy face but his eyes looked like they were full of hatred. "We should all get to sleep." I said. Sean said " Yes that's a good idea. Tomorrow will be a better day for us ."He let out a weird smile and Laid down. Mac and I looked at each other then went to sleep.

I woke up the next morning. Just like the past morning Sean was gone but this time their was a trail of blood leading to another cave. I walked In slowly only to see Sean over Mac with a hammer. I stared right into Sean's eyes an he stared Into mine
