KENZIE
I'm so sensitive. Too sensitive, that is. I am currently bleeding a bit from my arms, but that's alright. I deserve it, don't I?Maybe I should get out of the house, I'll take a walk I guess, hopefully for once it's a nice one and nothing bad occurs. But that's too doubtful.
Informing my mom I'm going to take a walk, I throw on a band hoodie and some sweatpants. Trying not to be upset, down the stairs I go. "Bye mom. Love you a lot," I say quietly, "Bye sweetie," I hear opening the door and walking outside into the dangerous world of scary things.
Sooner or later, I get to a street; Colton Ave. My eyes widen at the name, and I start to cringe. Suddenly, I repeatedly see Colton walking down with that girl, "Lily," I'm guessing. I must be dreaming, what? I pinch myself at the feeling that this is not a dream, but this is true. Real life. "No! I will not tolerate this anymore!" I yell over to him. With that, I run over to him. Before I can get over the middle part
of the street, a car hits me. I'm not dead, and I can tell my legs are scraped, because the car hit my legs, knocked me down, and proceeded on its journey, running me over. How rude.
At this point, I'm not in the mood of caring about that. The car didn't even notice me, so I shouldn't notice it. I get up and continue my voyage to them.
Finally, reaching them, I speak, "Colt- Colt- Colt-.." and with that, I collapse onto my knees, killing them of hurt, and begin crying my eyes out.
"Are you okay?!?" Lily starts freaking out. "No. I'm not," I reply letting out a shaky breath. "Lily," Colton pleads, "leave her. She needs no help. That is the girl I was talking about. As known always, the Backstabber," he replies smiling at her. "But she's hurt! And she's crying! And--" before she can answer, Colton says, "It doesn't matter. Let's move on, leave her here. She can take care of herself," as he starts dragging her along with him.
I get myself sturdy standing up, and go home.
COLTON
I bring Lily back to my house and bring her up to my room. "Colton, why do you hate that girl so much? And can I please have her address?""I just don't like her, personal reasons. I guess you can know, she lives on 142 Pointer Street." "Thanks.." is what she says. I kiss her but she pulls back, that's weird. "Lily, what's wrong?" I ask, "Nothing," is all she replies. "Tell me," I command. "It- It's just that the girl, looks hurt, and I feel like you did something because she looked worried when she came up to you. It's summer, and she's all bundled up like in her point of view a snowstorm hit. I love you, but can I please know?" She begs.
I can't stand when girls beg for me to do something I don't want too. Stop.. Colton.. don't give in. She's too cute. I have to.
"Ok.. well we were together but this jealous guy texted me and showed me a picture of her saying she loves him, but she also said she loved me. I hate her, and so does he. We're best friends now," and I smile at that because I'm happy we're not together anymore.
That rude cheater.. Ew. Just can't stand her anymore.
Lily frowns and looks down, "But if he was jealous," she looks up at me, "how do you know he wasn't lying? And that the picture was fake and he made someone else do it?" she looks back down, still frowning.
"Can I ask you something..?" she asks me, "Yeah," I tell her.
"Can I have her phone number, please?" she begs once again.
Don't give in. Yes, give in. No. Yes. Ugh too cute! Must!
l
"Yes. It's 609-642-1907," I inform her.
