So I'm out.. Finally. Geez, it feels like I've been in this hellhole forever. Luckily, I only have a broken arm and stiches on the forehead.
"Hey, Prince Charming!", Hope yelled, startling me. I texted her telling her that I was being released. I didn't actually think she would come to the hospital though.
"Hey, beautiful!" I smiled and waved hoping she didn't see me flinch."Jumpy much?"
Damn it.
"My bad," I laughed,"I just didn't think you would come to the hospital just to see me get realeased. "
"Well, I do owe you a date after all, silly. "
Today??? I didn't literally mean as soon as I got out of here.. I'm not even prepared. I suck at romance. This date is gonna go to shit real quick.
Before I knew it, she thumped me. I was in a daze once again. She gave me that funny look that I love. I tried to mimic the look and we were in some sort of staring contest for what seemed like years. We couldn't keep the fake, serious looks going any longer. We broke into laughter out on the NYC streets. It seemed like the whole world vanished and it was just Hope and I. Her laugh was beautiful. It wasn't fake like the other girls I've dated. She actually enjoyed my company.
"MOVE OUT OF THE WAY, DAMN IT!!!"
Well geez, asshole. You didn't have to yell.
Before we could move, he shoved my beloved angel out of his way. Luckily, she landed safely in my arms. She grunted and rolled her eyes before smiling and looking up at me. She was pissed that the bastard ruined our first little moment, but I could tell she was kind of happy he shoved her right into my arms.
"Hi..."
"Hey, clumsy. "She giggled and I wanted to hold her forever. I wanted to kiss her right at that moment. My heart was racing faster than a criminal trying to escape the police. She felt so warm... even though it was a brutally cold day. Her eyes melted me.
Go for it Alex. Stop being a wimp. Do it. Do it. D-
I pressed my lips against hers and they felt at home. I would have felt terribly stupid if she didn't feel the connection too. Luckily, she kissed me back. Our kiss was synced to the perfect rythym.
God.. We barely know each other but here we are... kissing like we're Bonnie and Clyde... But ya know.. I don't mind..
At last, I pulled away unwillingly.
"Ya know, I should take you to dinner first. "
We laughed and held hands, and I walked her to the best restaurant I knew.
Tiffany's, can't get any fancier with my budget. I think I was wrong about this date...I suppose we'll see.
