• Killua's POV •
I picked at the food on my plate, not bringing the fork anywhere close to my mouth. I was too lost in my thoughts to even realize what was going on around me. When I looked up from my plate, I find Aunt Mito giving me a concerned look, as well as Gon.

"Huh? Sorry Aunt Mito, I was sorta thinking about something."

"Well, what about?" She asked innocently, leaning towards the table, bringing a spoonful of vegetables to her mouth.

I got flustered and looked away, blushing. I received a questioning look from the woman, but when I looked to the right of her, the dark-haired boy was giving me a warm smile. His innocent and passion brings warmth to my heart. He literally symbolizes peace and just..light.

"Killua ?"

I must've been starring.

I let out a clearing cough and stood up.

" Dinner was great, thank you Mito."
I proceeded towards the room Gon and I shared.

"Killua honey, you barley touched your food!" She spoke loud enough for me to hear her.

"I wasn't that hungry. Sorry!" I exclaimed back.

The truth was, too much was going on through my head to even process the thought of digesting anything.

I walked in the room and threw myself on the bed.

"Killua?" A familiar voice spoke out, causing me to lift my head off the pillow and look towards the doorway.

"Gon.."

He walks to my bed and sits down near my feet. I sit up and swing my legs off the bed, he uses this as permission to get close to me.

"Are you okay Killua ? You seem..different." He tilts his head to the side a little while talking to me. Almost like a little puppy. It was adorable, I admit.

"I'm fine, but.. did you actually mean what you said? About earlier of course." I was actually surprised I managed to speak with the lump in my throat.

"Killua, of course I did! You're my bestest friend!" He spoke ever so loudly.

"Best friends don't kiss each other baka." I muttered to myself.

"Huh?" He hummed.

Gon sighed and put a hand on my thigh.

"Killua, I love you more than a friend. I think we're both old enough to know that ."

His words and actions brought a tingling sensation that ran down my spine.

I meet his gaze, starring at his light , determined eyes. I didn't trust myself to speak at this moment. All I was able to do was press my lips against Gon's.
Being surprised and shocked at first, then relaxing, Gon kissed back, bringing his hand up to the back of my neck, pushing our heads closer.

We leaned away from each other after a while. Gon with a smile that could light up the darkest alley, and me, well who wouldn't smile after experiencing this heavenly moment.

" I love you too, Gon."

| Woo, I updated ((: About time, I know. School is the only thing I really have to blame. But thank you for everyone who has had patience with my slow updates.
