I've been trying to find the perfect balance with school and the music festival. It seems hard. I can never have free time. My agenda everyday just includes school, practice, then studies. I barely even sleep, but tomorrows Saturday. Finally, a day off.

Waking up on a Saturday morning is definitely the best feeling in the world. Grabbed my phone to look at the time. 8:00 am. After scrolling through my other messages, I stumbled upon an unread text from last night. "So tonight?"

"Yeup. " I replied.

I couldn't stop smiling just thinking about today. This is better than staying at home doing nothing. But what do I wear?

"What should I wear? And where are we going? " I texted.

While I waited for a reply, I made breakfast and got ready for today. I heard my phone beeped from my room and read his reply.

"It's up to you. Go casual. :)"

Ok then, by casual I think of t-shirt and jeans, but that won't be any good. Seriously, t-shirt and jeans for a first date? I don't have enough time to shop.

..

*ding dong*

The doorbell rang. I'm a bit nervous and excited at the same time, hopefully I don't screw up.

I pulled the door open and I see Adam. He was wearing a plaid buttoned down shirt and black jeans. Good thing I changed my mind about my outfit, instead I stuck with my favorite red dress.

"So, where are we going?" I asked.

.....

After Adam dropped me off at home, I couldn't stop smiling. I had an amazing night. It might have been simple, but I had fun. He took me to his favorite restaurant, where they had such amazing food. I swear, at ate so much I couldn't even move. We've never really had a conversation before, but it seemed like we had so much to talk about. He's such a humorous guy. The night went by so fast I didn't realize how late it was getting and how long we stayed there.

Now I'm back home. What do I do now? Home always seems so boring. There's never anything to do but sleep, which is exactly what I did.

I was woken up by the sound of my phone ringing. It wasn't my alarm clock, but a text message from Tanya. "Want to practice today?"

I've had a pretty great night so i don't see why not. "If you guys are up for it. " I replied.

"Be here in 20 then. "

I grabbed everything I need and headed out. Walking seems better when you're in a good mood. The walk felt like seconds than the usual feeling where I get really tired like I'm about to pass out or something. Stella greeted me by the door like always and we started to play.

The music festival is only 2 weeks away and I could already feel myself getting nervous. I've never played in front of so much people, but I guess I'm just gonna have to suck it up and prepare.

....

Today's the day. I better head out, I don't wanna be late for our last rehearsal in Tanya's house. I think we sound pretty good, hopefully they will too. I wasn't feeling very well the past few days, but its gonna have to wait. We were told that we're the 5th band playing that day, which should be around three o'clock.

It's our turn to play in about a few minutes. I can't tell you how nervous I am. I feel like I'm running out of breath yet, I'm just here standing backstage with my guitar waiting to get on stage. "Let's go. " Stella said, then smiled at me and Tanya. I returned her smile, the. Proceeded on stage. Right after the MC introduced us, we played. After we got off stage I felt so tired. They both didn't look as tired as me, I don't know why. I probably just need to get in shape or something. The rest of the night went great. We met lots of other bands and talked to many new people, then proceeded home.

It's been 2 days since we played in the music festival. I told basically everyone I can about it. I guess I was just so excited when it happened. But I still have to focus on my studies and my parents insisted I go to the doctors and get a check up. Apparently, me running out of breath so much isn't normal. Maybe my lungs just suck or I'm is its just the fact that I need to exercise.

When I was getting checked by the doctor he said that everything seemed normal, but when I told him what was going on. He told me to get a cancer examination just to make sure. I doubt I have cancer, seriously. Me, have cancer? It seems impossible.
