After a few hushed phone calls Tony Stark and his long time friend Steve Rogers sat across from the four of us with hard blank stares. I'm not sure why out of all people to call Tony brings over this man to talk over our situation. Steve was nice enough sure; he had a warm glow about him, and was only a few years younger than Tony. He had cropped blonde hair, kept trimmed and tidy in a sort of old fashioned way. His eyes were interesting though, with a few corns feet at the edges from a decades of smiling, encased in that gunmetal blue was what looked like centuries of watching the world crumble at your feet. Tony had the same aged experience in his own eyes, but by the way Steve looked over us now, staring strongly at each of us, it's as if he had lived more than one lifetime.

"I'd like to use this time to point out that I'm incredibly uncomfortable." Dylan spoke after the longest 4 and a half minutes of our lives.

"You wear a sweatshirt into combat." Tony deadpanned, "You better get used to that feeling lil' Green." Steve shrugged in agreement, while Dylan looked highly offended.

"I have unbreakable skin! I don't need a metal wedgie getting in my way."

"We have snow here son, Bruce wears a pair of shorts to battle, he gets cold." Steve pointed out.

"So, not to be rude sir.." I trailed, pulling the sleeves of my sweater over the palms of my hands in a fidgety fashion, "Are you a well trusted friend or agent or..?"

The rest of the group turned to me in unison with a look of confusion.

"You mean you don't know who Steve is?" Dylan asked plainly, the others nodding as if I should know this already.

"Don't call him Steve. It's improper." Tony mocked, while his friend rolled his eyes.

"You boys know because I'm a part of the family." Steve explained, "And Lennon probably knows because-"

"She's a snoop?" Dylan interrupted.

"Her parents."

Lennon flicked Dylan behind the ear, before looking towards the two adults sheepishly.

"Actually my parents never told me, they were spies for heaven's sake they kept secrets for a living. I'm just a snoop." She agreed, reclining on the couch casually with her an arm outstretched behind Hulk Jr.

"I feel like we derailed from my question here." I protest, looking back at Steve who gave me a warm smile. He rubbed his legs and heaved a sigh before standing up. He walked briskly behind his own seat and crouched behind Tony as he assessed the four of us once more.

"So you teens formed a hero group." He stated, rubbing his chin thoughtfully.

"Okay sure, just ignore me." I mutter quietly, giving a sarcastic shrug. Jason elbowed my arm gently, failing to hide his amused smile.

"I admit, you have the potential for something great, but you're too raw. You got Lennon seriously hurt, and back in my day that would've taken a good few weeks to heal properly. You have to learn to work together without even so much as a glance towards your team mates." Steve spoke on. He crossed his arms over his chest in an intimidating manner, meanwhile Tony watched us with amusement.

"Cut them slack Cap, it's not like we were a well oiled machine at first." He grinned, rubbing his hands together mischievously as if he were already plotting something in his head. I only looked up in confusion, slowly putting the pieces together.

"It's not like we're one now. You're still as stubborn as ever."

"He said Cap, right? I heard that correctly?" I leaned over to Jason, as the two adults continued to bicker like an old married couple.
