3. Morning sunshine

Ethan

He threw a pair of clothes at me, I looked down noticing that I wasn't really wearing any clothes the whole time. I blushed walking faster to the bathroom. I opened the door to the bathroom and placed the clothes on the bench sliding into the bathtub.

I rested my head on the back of the tub thinking about everything, I still didn't understand why Chance saved my mother and I, and if he did save us why he was sending us away so soon. If he was sending us away why did he save us?

I quickly got out of the bathtub and dried myself off with a towel and got changed into the clothes he had given me. The looked new but fitted me, it was surprising really he is so much bigger then me yet he still has clothes that would be able to fit me.

I opened the door walking out to see my mother fast asleep, and so was Chance Laying down on his bed like he had a stressful day. I yawned laying next to Chance and cuddling up to him. I don't know why I chose Chance to sleep next to he just made me feel safe.

Chance

It was about midnight now so I must of fallen asleep for a while, but what woke me up was noises around the house. My chest feeler warmer than usual, I looked down to see Ethan cuddling up to me fast asleep. I rubbed his hair and ears slowly getting up hoping that he didn't wake up.

I looked around the house for where all the noise was coming from, I glanced over to Lucy's bed noticing that she had left, I quickly spotted her on the other side of the room going through some of my stuff. I growled at her letting her know to back away from the stuff, she fell over surprised that I was there standing above her and looking down on her. "I can explain" she mumbled and quickly blurted out a fake excuse.

"Don't worry you'll be living as soon as Alex gets here" I mumbled grabbing her and putting her back on her bed. I went around cleaning up some of the house watching Lucy and making sure she didn't try anything, whilst Ethan cuddled my pillow and slept with only a light snore coming out of his mouth.

I laid back down on my bed and quickly Ethan moved over to me cuddling me again, "you sure look like your not gonna be letting us leave with Alex" Lucy mumbled. "Why would you say that?" I asked staring at her. "Because you seemed very attached to Ethan, are you sure your not going to wimp out and let us stay here" she laughed wrapping her self in the blanket. "Just remember whose house your in and who didn't kill you but still can. You are leaving in the morning" I mumbled cuddling Ethan closer to me.

Third person

As the sun rose like every other day, Chance slowly woke up but not moving away from Ethan, he wanted to stay like this forever but sadly even cats need to eat some time.

Chance could hear footsteps outside and quickly a quiet knock echoed the room around him, Chance ignored it completely forgetting about how is pack was meant to come in the morning.

Alex was starting to worry because usually Chance would of answered the door by now and Alex mind came up with reasons why he didn't answer the door. Alex knocked a second time and opened the door walking into the house only to see Chance cuddling Ethan and Ethan cuddling Chance. Chance blushed slowly getting out of bed and walking over to his pack and sitting down at the table.

"Are you going to get married?" Zoe quickly blurted out not even bothering to think about the question of what she was going to say. Chance blushed even more. "No" Chance mumbled walking over to the kitchen and started cooking some breakfast. Ethan slowly woke up looking at all the people that were now in Chances house. He looked over at Chance who was now cooking breakfast that smelt amazing.

"Morning Ethan" Alex smiled bowed down to Ethan. "Morning" Ethan replied sleepily sitting up rubbing his eyes and stretching. Chance served out four plates of bacon and eggs. He handed one to Ethan, one to Lucy, and one for Alex for his long trip, and one for himself. "Ah um thank you Alpha" Alex smiled to Chance and began eating.

"Thank you" Ethan mumbled looking at his food, "If you don't like bacon and eggs I'll cook something else" Chance smiled looking at Ethan. Ethan quickly picked up a fork, Ethan didn't want Chance to cook a whole new breakfast for him. Ethan shook his head, and grabbed a piece of bacon shoving it in his mouth. Ethan quickly spat it out, "it's alright, what do you feel like instead?" Chance asked standing up, "I... I don't know I haven't had anything before really" Ethan mumbled, staring at him. "Mm I have ice cream" Chance mumbled not really knowing what to give Ethan.

"For breakfast?" Alex questioned laughing awkwardly, "alright" Ethan whispered looking down at his own feet. Chance placed a bowl with a few scoops of ice cream and a small spoon. Ethan picked up a spoon, taking a small amount of ice cream then quickly looked up to Chance. "THIS IS AMAZING" Ethan screamed, and ate the ice cream quickly.

Chance laughed finishing his breakfast and placed his plate in the sink, Lucy and Alex quickly put away their plate as well, "more?" Ethan begged holding out his now empty bowl towards Chance, "no more, you will be sick. You can have some a bit later" Chance smiled taking the bowl away from Ethan. "Alright" Ethan smiled still happy.

"Chance, sir. Shall I take them to where they need to go now?" Alex asked staring at Chance who showed no emotion. "NO IM NOT LEAVING CHANCE!" Ethan screamed at Alex running and jumping on the bed hiding under the sheets. "Come on Ethan were going to see your father" Lucy said harshly. "I DON'T CARE! IF CHANCE ISN'T GOING THEN IM NOT GOING" Ethan screamed. Chance blushed bright red, "what have you done!" Lucy screamed at Chance.

Chance laughed looking at the childish boy who was hiding under the blankets. "Ethan can stay here" Chance laughed still watching Ethan who was now looking out from under the sheets, at Chance. Chance quickly turned to Lucy, "she isn't staying here" Chance stated harshly staring at Lucy. "I'm not leaving Ethan with you creep" Lucy screamed. "DON'T CALL HIM A CREEP" Ethan screamed jumping out hugging Chance. Chance quickly went bright red. "Aww Chancey is blushing" Zoe stated causing Alex to laugh. "Shut up" Chance mumbled. "Alex take her away now, and Zoe get out of my house" Chance said harshly.
