---Chances POV---

Alex stared at me, you could see it in his eyes a mix of fear and curiosity. I mean I'm alpha and usually there's fear but curiosity that's new.

"We must be going now" Alex said calmly, facing Lucy. "IM NOT GOING TO LEAVE MY SON HERE WITH YOU!" She screamed at me. "Get her out of my sight Alex now before I deal with her another way" I growled.

Ethan was shaking as he hugged me still. It was like he was scared of me yet he didn't want to leave. "Chance! You're scaring him look. His not even a year old yet you got to be calm with him! His not even a week old yet. Even if he looks fifteen and he can already eat and talk. He still needs caring for." Zoe said really fast. "I thought I said get out" I said calmly. I didn't just ignore her. She had a point. He is still young and if his here I'm going to have to teach him stuff.

"EVERYONE JUST GET OUT NOW!" I yelled getting annoyed with everyone in my house.

Everyone quickly left the house. Zoe gave me a look before she left. It wasn't bad. It wasn't a look like she hated me. It was more of a sad look like she had just lost someone she loved. I'll think about what it meant later.

"Why didn't you want to leave and go with your mum?" I asked. He let go; I had completely forgot he was still hugging me. He looked at me confused, "do-" his voice cracked as tears ran down his face. "Do you not want me here?" He said sounding like he was going to break down any second.

What do I do? I have never looked after anyone before. I have never cared for anyone. How do I act? Usually I would just kill them, but I can't just kill Ethan.

"Of course I want you here. If I didn't I would just kicked you out with your mother. So don't ever think I wouldn't want you" I said calmly while walking over to my draw of clothes. It's not like I needed new clothes. I just didn't want him to see me. I have never shown sympathy to anyone before. Why was I showing it now?

Ethan didn't say anything back, yet I didn't hear him move. Was he just standing there?

I turned around to him. I was correct, not that I wanted to be; He was still standing there. Yet he wasn't crying he was just staring at his feet.

"What do you want to do today?" I asked breaking the silence. He looked up at me. He thought about it for at least a couple of seconds. "ICE CREAM! ICE CREAM! ICE CREAM!" He yelled at the top of his lungs. I laughed. "I promise tonight you can have a bowl of ice-cream. But during the day what do you want to do? We can't eat ice cream all day." I smiled, laughing a bit. "Why can't we eat ice cream all day?" He asked genuinely confused. "You'll get sick" I explained.

"Can we go out side?" He asked. I nodded "let's get ready" I smiled. "I think I have some more clothes that will fit" I said going through the draws. I found a light blue shirt and black pants that should fit him alright. I handed them to him and he smiled, taking off his clothes I gave him last night.

I turned back to the draws grabbing out some clothes that I would wear. I had a plain white shirt and black pants. I quickly got changed and turned around. "What do I do with the old clothes?" He asked grabbing his. "Place them up there" I mumbled grabbing my clothes and placing them there as well. I'll clean them later.

"Can we go now?" Ethan asked excited. "Alright" I smiled. He cheered and ran outside. "Wait for me" I smiled laughing a little. I quickly ran after him. "Where will we go?" He asked looking around. "I know where somewhere. Just follow me" I smiled walking along the grass listening to the leaves crush under my feet.

"Where are we going?" He asked curiously. "Somewhere magical" I smiled, "really! Do they have unicorns? And rainbows? And dragons? And-" "you'll see what I mean once we get there" I smiled laughing at how excited he was.

"Are we nearly there?" He asked. "Maybe" I smiled. "Are we nearly, nearly there?" "Sure" I smiled.

We walked for a bit longer not really talking about much.

"Ok close your eyes" I said. He closed his eyes "how will I know where to go if my eyes are closed?" He asked confused. "Hold my hand and follow me. Just trust me you'll love this place" I smiled not that he could see me. Why was I smiling so much? No body makes me smile as much as the boy holding my hand. I don't even know him. Why I am I acting like this?

I walked alone the path into the place I wanted to show him. On the right a hill with water running off into a small pond. The rest was a grass area surrounded by trees. In the middle a single tree. The whole place wasn't massive but it didn't need to be. I liked it how it was.

I usually would come out here to think about my pack and what was happening. Or I would just come out here to read or draw or just escape what was happening around me.

"Open your eyes now" I smiled watching his reaction. He look amazed as he looked at everything.

"Do you like it?" I asked even though I knew the answer. "I LOVE IT!" He said excited. "Do you want to swim?" I asked. He nodded. I walked over to the tree taking my clothes, Ethan quickly followed doing the same.

I ran over to the water diving into the pond. I came up for a breath. "Come on" I smiled. He walked over slowly getting into the water. "It's cold but nice" he smiled swimming around. "I love coming out here when it's raining"
