Hi, I'm Selene. My parents disappeared eight years ago, when I was eight. No one knows what happened to them, it's like they vanished into thin air. Anyway, my life now is okay. I live with nice foster parents, have a friend, Kelli, and I have my own room. I live in California. My last name was Vieni, now it's Asil. I'm a senior at Yios High, and I love studying nature. I've skipped a few grades. My foster parents' names are Mia and Kyle, but my actual parents' names are Timothy and Kilea. I have also gotten my drivers' license and an iPhone 6.
My parents bought me the two dogs and allowed me to name them. They're both huskies. The male is Pluto, and the female is Sara. They get along really well with each other and the wolves that roam around our gardens. My foster parents' are keeping the money from my other parents' house and stuff for me... and it encompasses more than a hundred thousand dollars, which is mostly for the paintings in our house. They are keeping the house and renting it out, though.
Anyway, I'm kind of bored with my monotonous life. I have yet to find a boyfriend, not feeling a pull to any in my high school. Kelli keeps pushing me towards boys she thinks are cute or handsome. I've got to admit the boys she picks are pretty nice choices, but there still is no pull. She is really good at finding nice boys and keeping them around. Her boyfriend is one of the most handsome boys in the school. They even are planning to apply to the same colleges! They will probably be voted cutest couple this year.
I don't know if I want to apply for any colleges, since I want to leave (when I turn 18), to look for my parents. Currently, all my classes are very easy (for me), but the others in my classes (including Kelli) are struggling. I am taking as many AP classes as possible, and my parents are paying for them, and not deducting from the money from my real parents' stuff. They are also paying for extracurricular activities. Even those classes are easy for me. All my teachers compliment me on meeting many of their standards.
I wish that I will find at least some clues to where my parents went since they didn't seem like the type of parent that would just vanish, and leave their child alone. I plan on going to our old house first, and hopefully I can take Pluto and Sara. They will probably love the house, with it being situated right next to a forest. I wonder if there are any wolves in that forest, since the huskies love hanging out with the wolves around our house.
