Tyler's POV

I don't know what came into my mind that I had to do that. To speak up to him, to tell him something like that. Even for me, as what I can see, everything is beyond repairable. But I said it anyway. Because somehow and to some degree, things are going to get better between us.

Its been 45 minutes since I left for a walk. My feet brought me to the place where our childhood playtime had particularly sew up. I sat down to the very swing I used to play opposing to the swing my brother used to.

I slowly move the swing against its leverage like the old times. I jumped into the brisk air of the night only to land down with something. I raised my left foot and found a small antic underneath my foot, settled there at the ground forgotten just a day or so.

The owner must dropped it while playing or when he jumped away like what I just did.

I could say it was he because the toy is visibly for a boy. For a little boy. But for some reasons, it could belong to someone who was already a grown up.

I picked it up and brushed away the dirt's and sands that had glued to its body part.

I scanned the whole thing to see what it is really look like. Due to the decreasing illumination at the part to where I am standing, I was unable to perceive the thing.

It was already late. So I walked back to the house with the antic toy clenched between my fist. I purred as I step in the middle of the dead road of the village. The air around seem much colder than the past year. I pulled my leather jacket tight to my torso hoping to kill the chilling sensation that started to build inside.

I walk- run, until I reached the front door of the house. But before I conceal inside, I went to see at the side of the edifice and looked up.

The lights in his room are still blazing. Why is he still up, is he trying to pull all nighter again. I was the only one, always the one who sneak inside his room just to turn his lights off.

Every night, I always make sure that he would go to sleep first before I do. That is the only time I had, the only chance I had to gaze in to his face. To scan every inch of his face before I get to sleep. Been doing that since forever. I became his ghost.

I'm not a creeper. Who would creep on their siblings specially at night when they're sleeping though?

I only do that to make sure his okay. Don't get me wrong, I know I don't talk to him or considering the fact that he exist at the school. But I'm just... you know things are really hard to explain when you can't even understand it all with yourself.

I locked up the front door and walked straight to my room. The antic was still on my hand, so I placed it under the lamp. The lights are out, I yawned and strolled to my brother's room. I took the spare key out of my pocket and injected it to the knob and I slowly freed his door. I knew he's already sleeping. For the millionth time, he forgot again to turn off the lights.

I got a couple of minutes gazing intently into his aspect. I gazed out the window at the falling leaves. Walking near to his curtains, I felt he shifted from his position to another one. His blanket fell to his side and I moved to his bed and did his blanket.

I froze when he motioned his arm and landed to my hands. His hand are cold and tiny blister appearing in his pale skin. I pulled my hands and laggardly placed them to his hands.

When I think his hands warmed up a bit. I strolled back to my room and laid down to get some sleep.

I quickly fell asleep upon resting my body to the comfy bed. And everything went black.
