"Lavender" I hear a voice call, I look to see my father coming towards me. I quickly sit down my sandwich as he sits at my table.
"Lav, we have to stay late I'm working on a big case, sorry sweetheart I know you wanted to watch the voice tonight" he says taking a chip out of the bag.
I smile, "it's fine dad" he smiles and gets up, he gives a me a quick kiss on the head before walking away.
I sigh another Night without watching the voice. I quickly finish Dinner which was supposed to my my lunch, but i skipped it, due to I to busy talking to Ruth.
I stand up and grab the remaining garbage throwing it into the nearest garbage can. I head back into the kitchen and grab the dinner cart.
I make my way down the hallways and arrive at 2b. I make my way down the cells passing out the trays of food.
I arrive at the last one which happened to be him. "Hello beautiful" he says flaunting his signature smirk.
"Hello" I say back placing the tru of food through the slot. "Thanks love" he says placing the tray on the small desk behind him.
I smile, and grab the cart handles going to leave, but he grabs my wrist and pulls me back toward the cell. He smiles and whispers in my ear.
"See you later, lavender" he says then letting go, allowing me to leave. I quickly hurry down the hall, then stopping at a safe distance. Did that really just happened?
I shake it off and head to the kitchen to return the cart.

"Goodnight Ruth" I say giving her a gentle kiss on the cheek. "Good night lav" she says placing the last clean tray on the sting rack.
I give a final smile and exit the kitchen. I yawn and head downstairs to fathers office. I softly push open the door, to find him focused on a stack of papers in his desk.
He notices my presence and lifts up his glasses, putting them on his head. "Goodnight pa" I say going over to him, placing a kiss on his cheek.
"Night princess" he says running his fingers over his mustache. He returns to his work leaving my me to myself for the rest of the night.
I sigh and walk up stair, heading towards the empty holding rooms wanting to go to bed.
I pass hallway 2b, but quickly backtrack wanting to take the shortcut to the holding cell.
I walk quickly down the hall not wanting to disturb the sleeping prisoners. I walk slowly as I approach the end of the hallway,
"Lavender" a voice whispers causing me to jumps . I turn to Find him staring at me. "Yes?"
"What are doing?" He asks, I hesitate, "I'm going to bed, goodnight" I say going to leave, but jack stops me and pulls me close
"Stay with me?"he says running his thumb over my hand. I open my mouth "fine" i say "let me get a chair" I say as he lets my hand go.
I return to G and set down the comfiest chair I could find. I sit down only to have him grab my hand again.
"Tell me about yourself" he says, I give a light laugh. "There nothing to tell" he only shakes his head.
"Common go deep" I sigh. "Well my name is lavender grace Hilton, I'm 18, my father is the sheriff, is that enough" I say
He shakes his head again "deeper" I huff, "my mother and my sister died" I blurt out without thinking.
"His name was Eli, he hated my father for putting him away, so in return he killed me mother and little sister, jo" I say trying not to cry.
"Baby I'm sorry" he says kissing my hand. "It's fine" I pause "can I ask you a question" I ask
He nods "why are you in here" I blurt, he sighs "I beat the crap out some guy for raping a girl" he quickly admits, not wanting to get into detail.
I nod my head "I have another question" he sighs before nodding his head once more "what's your name?" I ask
He hesitates "jack" he finally admits. "Well goodnight, jack" I say getting more comfortable in my chair.
I yawn, slowly falling asleep, on the brink of sleep I hear a male voice whisper "goodnight lavender, my love"
