"Lucia" I mutter leaning against the wall, "you know I can't do that Lou" I sigh, picking the bridge of my nose.
"It's will break pa you know that" I say earning a loud sigh from the other side of the phone.
"Com'mon lav, please just a weekend! Please" Lucia pleads. I take a deep breath "I'll think about it." I mumble hanging up the phone.
I mumble out of frustration, pa had to leave last minute for a weekend trip to help Annie and grandma.
Annie was now living with grandma, currently pa was helping her move the items; while most likely getting an ear full from that douche bag Todd.
"Stupid asshole todd if you leave Annie and the kids alone then pa would be here, and i could go see jack." I mumble opening the fridge
I pull out the first thing I see, only to be Irrupted by the phone ringing, I slam the fridge angrily, walking towards the wall phone.
"Hello" I sigh putting the phone between my shoulder and ear, opening the bottle of water.
"Hey lavender it Ramona" I nod "whatcha need Mona" I say taking a drink of water.
"Ya well half the volunteers are sick, and we're running low on hands, you think you could come to the station and help" she asks, rushing her words.
I quickly swallow my water "yeah sure mo" I quickly say hanging up the phone. I get to see jack.
Just one thing how thing how am I supposed to get there. I sigh thinking, then realizing there one car I can take. Moms old car. No one has driven moms car since the accident, pa hasn't even took it out of the garage
I slip on my flats, then walking over the the table next to pa's, opening the drawer and pulling out a set of keys. I smile and shut the drawer, heading to the Garage.
I push the garage door opener and open the door to the car. I wipe the dust off the seat, then getting out pulling out of the drive way.
Jack here I come.

I pull into the secured parking lot and get out, walking though the front door.
"Hello lavender- new ride?" Nancy asks glancing out the window looking at the unfamiliar car.
"Yeah you could say that" I mumble, walking toward the laundry room looking for Ramona.
I push the doors, allowing me walk into the busy room. "Ramona" I call out, a familiar head of blond hair pops up, rushing towards me.
"Lavender,Great you here! Okay you can distribute the monthly toiletries" Mona says handing me a bin full of necessities.
I nod and make my way out of the laundry room heading to 2b then of course jack.

I come to the last cell, jacks cell. I push open the door and look into the room. No jack, my smile fades as I realize it's Friday and the prisoners are at lunch in the cafeteria.
I walk to his table and place the items on it, maybe a even little extra. I turn around only to knock papers loose on the floor.
I sigh and place the bin on jacks bed, I bend down collecting the loose papers. Grabbing all the papers I stand up, curious I examine the sheet.
Cold hearted.
I quickly realize it's a song, I pull back the paper and look at the ones behind it.

Paradise
I had no idea jack writes. I quickly set down the papers as I here the cell door open and close, along with the typical grumbles from the moody guard.
"Lavender?" I quickly turn around, grabbing the bin of jacks bed. "I have to go Jack" I rush giving him a peck on the lips.
He stumbles back shocked, either fork the fact I just violated his privacy, or that I'm rushing out on him.
I give a quick smile and rush out of the cell and heading to the laundry room, but I'm interrupted by a body running into mine.
I quickly look up to see its pa.
"Pa?" I ask confused, he supposed to be a grandmas. "Lavender what are doing here" he asks.
"Wait Lavender how did you get here!" He exclaims knowing the answer. "Moms car" I mumble refusing to look in his eyes.
"Lavender you know better that" he scolds, his mustache twitching, I sigh "yeah I know" I mumble.
"I'm disappointed lavender" he days planting a kiss on the top of my head then turning and walking away.
I take a deep breath, and finish the rest of my run.

"Goodnight Ramona" I call out seeing Ramona opening the front doors. She turns around and smiles. " goodnight, lavender"
I smile and turn around heading to bed, but Ramona interrupts me, "lavender, uh me and some friends are going out sometime this weekend, would you want to come?" She asks
I sigh knowing id pay was here it'd be a no. "I'll have to ask my dad" I says hesitating on the answer.
Ramona gives a heavy sigh, "lavender he can't control everything you do, I mean your a adult!" She exclaims.
I sigh knowing that, is the cold truth. She's right I am an adult but pa also seems to swoop in grab all of my reins of control.
"You know what I will go out mo." I say confidently, pa won't stop me this time.
Ramona gives a smile in returns and exits out do the building leaving me to what I was going to do before.
I make my way downtown he familiar black hallways, heading toward jacks cell.
