It had been about four days since I had first gotten here. I've met a few people, made a couple friends, and written a few songs on my guitar. While I was getting breakfast yesterday, I heard the employees mentioning Christmas, but also! It's also Louis's birthday tomorrow! Christmas Eve! I had talked to him about it, and he said he hadn't had a Christmas celebration since he got here which was when he was fifteen. So my goal:

Make Christmas for Louis.

Running through the mall, five heavy mall bags on my arms, I made my way into yet another store.

The shoe store.

Picking up a pair of bright red Vans that looked about his size, I picked a black pair then went to the register. Swiping my credit card, he handed me my bag and I started off further into the mall. Seating myself on a bench, I felt my phone vibrate. Skillfully grabbing my phone out of my pocket, I pressed it up to my ear.

"Lemon speaking?" I bubbled, my eyes glancing around.

"Lem, where are you? I woke up and you were gone?" He sounded worried...it was Louis.

"I'm fine. I just went shopping at the mall. I was going to tell you, but I didn't want to wake you, you looked so peaceful." I answered, standing to my feet and making my way towards a store that caught my eye.

"Oh....alright.....be back soon." He ordered, and I giggled.

"Okay Lou, got to go. Bye!"

"Bye!" Hanging up my phone, I slid it into my pocket and slipped into the new store. I was extremely aware that when I walked out of here, I was going to have blown MAJOR cash. But Louis deserved it. Searching through loads and loads of the amazingly pricey objects, I spotted the perfect one. It was checkered red and black and the long board at the top read:

"Rock on"

I smiled and picked it up, carefully making my way to the cashier.

"Now before I ring this up....do you have ALL the money for it?" The girl smacked on her bubble gum, which slightly agitated me, but I kept my cool.

"Yes ma'am!" Swiping my card, I put it my pin and looked up at her.

"Would you like to buy a case for this?" She asked, rolling her eyes. Nodding my head, I swiped the credit card again and she placed it in it's case.

"Thank you!" I called, rushing out of the building.

Wrapping up the last gift, I let out a heavy sigh and stuffed the presents in my trunk. Closing it, I made my way into the depression center. Or Emo Home as I like to call it. Cause all the people here were practically emo. Making my way down the hall, I rolled my head back to stretch my neck muscles and continued walking.

"LEMON!!!!" Someone screamed. Flipping around, Louis came barreling at me and pulled me into a bear hug.

"Hi Lou! What's up?" I smiled as we skipped into the room.

"I thought you went shopping? Where are your bags?" He asked and my throat constricted.

"They're....in my car! I was too lazy to get them!" I made up an excuse as we stepped up to our door.

"Do you want me to get them?" He asked, and I shook my head in disapproval.

"No, that's okay. I don't need them this instant." Flopping onto my bed, he stared at me and smirked.

"What?" I asked, smiling.

"Did you get something for my birthday?" He laughed, and my mouth dropped.

"Maybe......but I won't give it to you until Christmas." I smirked, and he pouted.

"It's only two days! I think you'll be okay!" I laughed, and he smiled.

I think this is all going really well!
