Jamie gazed into her eyes. They were crystal blue, glinting in the bright light flooding in from the large window lining the wall. She blushed and hid behind her long wavy hair.
"Oh so sorry." she mumbled picking up her book out of Jamie's hand. Her hair swung freely when she moved masking her blushed face. Jamie smirked to himself and stood up just as she did.
"You are apologizing for dropping your book?" Jamie chuckled. Venus went a deeper red and looked around at the few people watching the exchange. People were fascinated at the attention Jamie was giving this strange girl. Jamie looked at her she was glowering, they had attracted a small audience now and Willow was quite unsettled.
"They are staring." she said uneasily looking around shooting glares at everyone.
"Would you like to go somewhere different?" Jamie asked trying not to laugh at her. She scowled noticing his twitching jaw.
"Not really I have somewhere to be after school." she turned and walked away before Jamie could answer her. He pushed through the crowd passing a bewildered Adam on the way who shook his head and laughed.
"Don't be late for practice!" he called out over the crowds.
Jamie glanced around every so often but she was nowhere in sight but just as he was about to leave he caught a glimpse of her from the corner of his eye, walking out the door towards the field. He ran swiftly after her avoiding bumping into irritated teachers on his way. She was just on the edge of the field looking for someone who was not there.
Is she looking for - me? Jamie wondered to himself. He walked over casually to the pitch and stood beside her. "Those legs are well fit." He said sarcastically and she jumped.
"Don't do that." she scowled and turned to face him. "I was -well just- are you busy?" she blushed but it faded fast when Jamie looked unsure. "Oh you're busy. Well what did I expect-" she said trailing off.
Jamie grinned at her. He was still contemplating skiping practise and going where ever Willow brought him. "No. No are you? He asked hoping the guys wouldn't miss him at practise.
"No, that's why I am here. Do you want to get coffee or something." she said awkwardly. She tucked a strand of her long silky hair and pulled out her car keys.
"Yeah sure." she looked slightly taken aback but wasn't surprised with Jamies curiosity. She led him through the parking lot towards her car and unlocked the small blue bug.
"Nice ride" he said stifling a laugh. The car was old and the plates were rusting but it suited her style. She looked over at him and glared.
"Problem" she said simply and hoped into he drivers seat. Jamie hopped in next to her and she started up the car.
They sat there awkwardly in silence the whole journey only speaking when necessary. Wilow took the bends sharply as if it didn't matter if the car hit a tree. They drove past three Coffee shops until Willow found the one she wanted. She killed the engine and stepped out her long skirt billowing around her ankles.
