Andy's POV:
I walked out of the hospital and sat down on the bench by the smoking area. I pulled out my pack of cigarettes and lighter and lit the toxic stick. Bringing it to my lips I inhaled and pulled it away, blowing out the smoke into the sky. A few more tears streamed down my face, she doesn't remember me, how could she not remember me? I let the last of my tears fall and finished my cigarette before texting Ash to come get me. He replied with an ok and showed up soon after.
"Where's Jess?" he asked looking behind me.
"Inside, now lets go," I looked away from him and pressed my head against the cold glass of the window.
"Is she okay?" he continued.
"She's fine, she's awake, now will you drive already?!" I raised my voice angrily and glared at him.
he nodded and looked away, starting the car and driving back to the house. The drive seemed longer than what it normally was, and it was silent the whole time. I just watched out the window was the trees passed by. Once we got to the house I trudged inside and up to Jess's room and collapsed on her bed, burying my face in her pillow. It smelled like her, her sweet scent lingering all over the room. I breathed in the smell and hugged the pillow to my chest, feeling like if I were to let go of this pillow, I'd be letting go of the last of her. I got up and began walking around the room, keeping the pillow by my side. I looked through her closet, her clothes went from bright colors, and slowly faded to black. I smiled when I looked on her dresser and saw that she had pictures all over it. Ones of her and I, of her and all of us, a few tears formed at the corner of my eyes.
I set her pillow on her bed and walked into her bathroom. I tore my clothes off of my body and turned on the warm water. I stepped into the shower and let the warm water cascade down my body, my hair falling over my face. I sighed and washed my bod and hair using her soap, it made me feel like she was still here, and the second I walk out of here I'd see her standing in her room, with her arms crossed, looking at me with that adorable smile of hers. I rinsed the soap out of my hair and stepped out of the shower after turning it off. I wrapped a towel around my waist and stepped out of the bathroom. The cold air sending shivers up my spine and goosebumps onto my arm. I shuddered a little and grabbed the pillow off her bed and walked to my room. I put on a pair of boxers and some sweats and walked downstairs.
Once I got downstairs I saw all the guys sitting in the living room, as I walked in they all looked at me, stopping their conversations instantly. I sighed and sat down, grabbing a slice of pizza out of the box on the coffee table.
"So?" CC looked at me expectantly.
"She woke up when I was there, but when I went up and hugged her, she asked me who I was," tears began to form again," she didn't remember me, I went outside to get some air hoping it was just my imagination but when I went back in she still didn't remember." warm tears now flooded down my cheeks.
"I'm so sorry man, maybe it will pass," Ash said rubbing my back.
"It just isn't fair," I sobbed into my hands.
"Love isn't always fair."
