after school

Sam's POV:
Yay school was finally over! I went to my locker to pack up my books but I had so much homework which made my bag really heavy. Oh the struggles. I looked around the hallways for Ethan but I couldn't see him anywhere. So I just decided to go out the front of the school and wait out there. About 5 minutes later, someone came up behind me giving me the biggest hug and it was Molly (my best friend). "Molly omg I haven't seen you all day! How have you been!" I squealed. "Yeah I've been great actually! What are you doing tonight?" She asked. "Well I'm going to Ethan and Grayson's to study, do some homework and maybe for dinner. Why, do you wanna do something?"
"Yeah I really wanna catch up. Hey! I heard that there is gonna be a pool party this Saturday Night and invites are going out tonight, we will have to catch up then." Molly replied, and it was actually a really good idea too. "Yup totally agreed, definitely need some catching up to do." I saw Ethan coming over so I started to end the conversation. "Alright well I've gotta walk home with E, I'll call you later!" I yelled as I was walking in a different direction. "Sweet, sounds like a plan. Bye!"

So me and E started walking towards our houses but the first like 3 minutes, it was silent but more of a comfortable silence rather than awkward. So I decided to break the ice, "Hey where were you after school I couldn't find you?" I asked but he didn't reply to me. "Ethan, are you okay?" I asked, and then he replied, "Yeah I'm just sorta lost you know?" And I said, "How so? You know where your house is don't you?" Geez I'm funny.
"Hahah no not like that. Well I like this girl and I don't know if she likes me back. I've liked her for ages but I'm getting mixed signals from her so I don't know what to do. What do you think?" He asked. I wonder if he's talking about me or not, I really hope so. "Well I think this mystery girl may be leading you onto something. Molly told me there's possibly a party on this weekend and if you and this mystery girl are invited, just flirt your heart out and maybe makeout. If! Only if you get lucky enough too!" I yelled. He laughed while playfully pushing me. "Yeah I think I'll do that, how come you're so good at relationship advice but you're still single?" He asked while laughing. "You know what, it's a question for the ages. No one will ever know!" I laughed. We then just continued to walk back home until it began to rain. "What?! Where the hell did that rain come from? It was sunny like 5 minutes ago!" Ethan yelled while the rain poured down on us. "Ethan come on we are gonna get soaked! We have to run back" I said and he nodded his head. We ran back to his front porch and we were finally protected by the rain from their roof. I looked at Ethan and he was absolutely dripping wet so i began to laugh so hard I fell down. Then Ethan laughed at that he collapsed onto the door. Silently just sat there, watching the rain fall and leaning against the door. It was great. The door then swung wide open and we fell inside. Grayson opened the door saying with confusion, "Oh my god, you guys are soaked!" Then I got up "GRAYSON! Give me a hug!" Being soaking wet, I believed it would be very funny. "Don't you dare come any closer, I just had a shower." He warned me but I wasn't going to obey him. I begun to chase him around their huge house, I thought I was running a fricking marathon! I eventually jumped on Gray's back and had him down on the floor by sitting on his waist and pinning his arms down. I shook my hair so his face started to get wet. I was laughing while Grayson was just screaming and telling me to get off. Being a wrestler, Grayson eventually turned the tables so he was on top of me pinning me down and I was stuck. I tried to get up but he was so strong. Then he said, "Sam, surrender now!" He was getting closer to my face trying to be intimidating, well two can play at that game. I leant in to his face that we were inches apart. "I would never surrender. I would rather die!" We looked into each other's eyes, Gray was getting closer and closer. Then I began to squirm underneath and I eventually got out. I was struggling to catch my breath but I put out my hand saying in between breaths, "Okay okay... Let's make... A truce... I won't get you wet if y... If you do my maths homework.. For the Royal highness... Herself!" I laughed at myself coz I was just so funny hahaha. Grayson rolled his eyes at me and laughed. He said, "Fine my queen. I shall do anything to not get soaked from the rain drops off thy shirt." He was talking in a posh voice now. "Thank you peasant, now go do my homework!" I ordered and then what do you know? Grayson had me pinned down again on the floor. "Seriously?! Again? You wouldn't treat your royals like this would you?" I could see that Grayson's shirt was pretty see through now thanks my saturated clothes. He replied, "Nah I was only joking. You're so weak Sam, like pick up your game man." He said while turning his back towards me. Oh hell no he's going down. I ran towards him and jumped on his back so he fell onto the ground, I turned him on his back then pinning his arms, once again. "Look whose the weak one now." I winked then I got up leaving him there while walking off. Then I yelled, "And don't forget to do my homework Gray!" I looked for Ethan but I couldn't find him anywhere. The house could only be so big. Then I walked into his room and he was actually doing homework. "Wow Ethan you're actually doing homework?" I questioned. "Well there was nothing else to do so I just started it unfortunately" he giggled. "E, is it okay if I can have a shower? My clothes are soaking wet and I'm really cold." I began to shiver.
"Yeah sure, you know where everything is." Then I got all the stuff and jumped in.
