We went to a fish place not far from the house. Since it was July, and all I wore was long sleeves and skinny jeans, (mainly cause that's all I had) Lauren and Joshua offered to take me shopping after we ate. I told them I wanted to go to hot topic, but they suggested a place called Rue 21, I've never heard of that place. But I agreed to go there anyways. It was dark already and when we got done wth shopping and got home, I got in my new pajamas I got at hot topic (I managed to get them to let me go there) my new pajamas were real cool to me. They were black with purple skulls on them. I like it. But anyways, I laid in bed, the door cracked, and my new radio was quietly yet perfectly playing a song by Slayer called cast the first stone. Slayer is my favorite band. I heard nails clicking on the hardwood floor down the hall and I to my room. It was Baby. "Hey girly." I said in a baby voice. "Come lay with me." She did so. Baby was the most prettiest Great Dane I've ever seen. She was albino with the plainest white fur, pink nose, and pinkish eyes. I fell asleep while petting her, she did too.
That morning I woke up and checked my phone, I had a text from Benjamin. It read "love you babe." Shocked, I replied. "What?" I waited a few minutes for a reply. While petting Baby who was still asleep he replied back "sorry that was meant for Clair, lol I don't love yo ass no mo." I threw my phone on the floor but immediately regretted it. I picked it up and it was cracked really badly. I tried turning it on and the damn thing wouldn't even to that! "Damnit!" I yelled. "Woah, woah now." Said Joshua. "Sorry. My ex freaking ticked me off and I threw my phone..." "And did it shatter?" He asked. "Yeah, it won't turn on. God I'm so stupid!" "No you're not." He said. "We can go get you a new one. Get ready and we will." "Where is Lauren?" I asked. "She's at work." He said. "What does she do?" "She's an owner of a cosmetology salon." He said. "Oh, sure we can go." "Ok. What kind of phone did you have?" He asked. "TracPhone." I said. "Well how would you like the new iPhone 6S?" He said with a grin. "Are you kidding me? Of course!" "Well get ready and we'll go." He said with another smile.
I woke Baby up and fed her. And rushed to get my new clothes on. It felt weird, I was wearing short sleeves and capris. At least I still had my converse. I did my hair and makeup as usual and got in the car with Joshua. " You excited?" He asked. "Hell yeah!" I said "oops... So sorry" I coughs myself. Remember not to cuss dammnit! I said in my mind. "Haha, that's alright. Just remember that we are Christians and don't cuss ok?" He said. "Do you even go to church?" He added. I haven't in years." I said. "Well we go every Sunday. Ok?" "Ok." I said.
We pulled up to the phone store and walked in. People were staring at me... Then this lady came up to Joshua. "My, my, is this the sweet heart you was telling us about?" She said. She seemed nice. "Well you didn't tell us she was emo. Does she believe in God?" She asked. I stand corrected. Before Joshua could say anything I said "yes ma'am I do believe in God. Do you believe that he's watching and do you believe that he said not to judge?" I asked. "Gosh, I'm sorry honey." She said. "Mom, I'm sorry, we came here to get her a phone ok?" Said Joshua. "Mom?" I asked. "Yep, she's my mom." He said.
