I awoke the next mornjng still downstairs but I guessed Caleb took Kiyiya to bed as the two were missing. I looked down to see Skylar asleep in my arms and grinned down at her at how peaceful and cute she looked. I lifted her up gently tryjng bot to wake her and placed her down gently as I stood and laid a blanket over her.
I quickly went to the kitchen and made myself a drink and yawned as my father came downstairs.
Ever since our father became Alpha, Ma always told us how he would get up early and I guessed it was true.
I smiled as my father walked into the kitchen and he did a small nod before making himself a coffee and reading the newspaper and I sat next to him to see the time was 6:45am. I groaned and ran a hand through my hair, it was a habit that I got, and took a sip of my drink.
"Any plans for tonight?" My father asked and I shrugged.
"Um dad something was watching us last night but it didn't feel like another wolf..." I grumbled.
He looked at me "did you see it?" I shook my head and he cussed but nodded.
"Okay son... just try and be safe and keep your siblings safe too, I'll have a word with your mother..."
