♥chapter five♥
I stepped off the bus and walked into the main school building, only to be swept off my feet. Suddenly being pulled by my wrist, I looked up into Umlaut's sparkly green eyes. As if lit by an internal flame, they glittered with amusement. He dragged me off to stairwell 3, which I had been warned about. It literally went fucking NOWHERE. What was the point of it? No one fucking knows.
We reached the top of the stairwell which was just a dead end. It was here that Umlaut finally let me go. Gently, and now I could catch my breath, I looked up at him. In the dark of the stairwell, his eyes practically glowed. He studied me intently. That curious look of such intrigue made me shiver. Which was ironic, because it also set my blood alight, burning its way through my veins, hitting my heart and making it race.
“Umlaut, wh-,” I had meant to ask him why we were there, but the sudden union of our lips was distracting. My erratic heartbeat, suddenly absent as I felt myself going into cardiac arrest. A moment of panic flooded through me, but soon passed as his tongue made its way into my mouth.
~PARTY BOY THEME PLAYS~
I sat up in bed and picked up my iPod. Yep, 5.30... Leave it to my alarm to interrupt an amazing dream. WAIT! Did I really just dream about Umlaut? Did I really just dream about him like that? I groggily slid out of bed and landed in a heap of blankets and static on the floor. I could feel everything in that dream like it was real...
“Wake up, bitch!” Liza called as she burst into the room, only to find me in a state of shock laying on my floor. I just stared up at my ceiling in disbelief.
“Whoa... What happened to you?” she asked, hovering above me, her hands on her hips.
“I-I dreamed about him...” I trailed off.
“Who? Oh, Romania... right. What happened? Was it dirty?” she giggled. “Come on, tell me!”
“It was just a kiss... But, wow,” I said.
“BORING!” Liza yelled. “Now get up, we gotta go.” I slowly got to my feet and went to get ready.
I stood front of my wardrobe contemplating what to wear. I decided on my Black Veil Brides shirt, my ripped black skinny jeans, and my neon pink converse. I wrestled my messy red hair up into a pony tail and swiped my eyeliner on with my blue lipstick. I was just knocking back my morning chai tea when I heard a honk out front. I looked out to see Umlaut's bright green Ferrari in the drive.
“Uh, Liza? Why's Umlaut here?” I asked.
“I called him, he's our ride this morning,” she replied.
“What?! I-I can't see him right after that!” I squeaked.
“Oh, you'll be fine. Bring your tea with you, unless you want to be late,” Liza said. She floated out, and I hurried to catch up with her.
“Hey, Scottie Dog,” Umlaut smiled and memories of my dream came back. My lips tingled and I squeaked a bit.
“Hi,” I muttered breathlessly, looking down, I slumped into the passenger’s seat and stared at my hands. Liza just floated to a rest into the back seat and got comfy.
“Scottie...” Umlaut sang. I looked up at him. God, he was adorable. Head cocked to one side and a smile playing at his lips as he leaned over the arm rest and studied me amused. There were those heart palpitations again. “Are you okay?”
“Uhhhhhhh...” I replied. Yeah, I definitely looked sexy with my mouth hanging open like a retard. I turned to Liza in the back seat who just whistled and looked out the window.
