"Wonwoo!"

Wonwoo had just reached the park when Mingyu called out to him.

"Hello, Mingyu."

As much as he didn't want to be there, he was still glad to see him, especially since Seokmin wasn't there.

"So tell me, how have you been lately?"

"Uh, me? Nothing big, work here and there. Waiting for you to come home." He mumbled at the end.

"Well that's good, you're still active out there."

"Ha ha, yeah. How about you?"

"Great, great actually. I suppose you saw the guy I was with yesterday. Yup, that's Seokmin..." Mingyu said quietly.

The two stood there as the silence surrounded them.

"Look, Wonwoo. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything I've done. I-I know I should've said good-bye in person but I can never get myself to talk to you again.
That's why when I saw you yesterday...it all came back to me."

Wonwoo looked at him. Staring at Mingyu brought back so many memories, so many memories that the two couldn't share anymore.

"Mingyu, no need to apologize. None of this is your fault, it's mine. I've kept you trapped inside my world instead of letting you live yours.
I understand. I understand why you left without a word, and I am happy you did. Now, you're living your life while me, I'm still stuck in my world, I'm still stuck in the past.
Seeing you again has made me realize that maybe I should start my new world, with someone else.
I want to thank you actually.
Thank you, Mingyu, for leaving my world because it has opened me up to a new one.
Kim Mingyu, I love you and always will, but now, it's a good-bye - in person."

Before Mingyu could say anything else, Wonwoo was out of sight.
