A/N: Hi guys. So my cousin is going to be on a plane for a few hours later tonight so I decided I'd post to give her something to read. I really hope you guys like it and thanks a lot for reading. I think that all of you Hooper shippers are really going to like the start of this chapter. Anyways enjoy. :)
“Why are you so nervous Hailey.” Harry laughs sitting his hand on my thigh as I continue to bounce my knees up and down.
“I'm not nervous what would you make you think that?” I laugh nervously looking over at him.
“Because your biting your nails.” he smiles and I look down at my mouth, indeed I was.
“I'm sorry...it's a habit.”
“A nervous habit.” he says turning his eyes back towards the road. He had just picked me up at the bus station and we were now on our way to his house in Holmes Chapel.
“Fine I'm nervous.” I admit beginning to bite my nails again.
“Why? It's not like it's the first time you've met my family.” he says pulling my left hand into his right and slowly rubbing circles on the top of my hand.
“I know...but this is the first time I've met them since—well since we've started dating.” I blush looking down at my lap. I still wasn't used to the idea of actually having a boyfriend and it made me giddy just thinking about it.
“You're cute you know that? You freak out over the simplest things. If my family liked you the first time you met them then what makes you think that they won't like you now?” he chuckles turning the corner into his neighborhood.
“What if they liked your friend Hailey but they don't like your girlfriend Hailey?” I pout looking down as the car comes to a stop. I hear the ignition turn off and the car fills with silence. I feel Harry's hands come in contact with my chin sending a chilling serge through my body. He slowly pushes my chin up and my golden brown eyes come in contact with his emerald green ones.
“Well, they're opinion doesn't matter because I like my girlfriend Hailey way more than I like my friend Hailey.” he grins brushing his soft lips against mine causing me to smile against the kiss.
“Are you ready?” he looks over at me and I nod slowly. “Okay lets go then.” he says pecking my lips one more time quickly before we both get out of the car. We both move to the back of the car pulling out Anne's birthday present before Harry grabs my hand intertwining our fingers. We reach the door and Harry leans forward letting go of my hand. And for the few seconds his hand is gone my hand feels empty and lifeless. He pushes the doorbell before reconnecting his hand with mine. A soft smiles forms on my face feeling the warmth of his hand.
“I'm coming.” I hear Anne's voice and suddenly all my nerves come back and I tense up a little bit. As the door slowly opens up Harry squeezes my hand reassuringly.
“My baby.” the door opens to reveal Anne. “Come in, come in it must be freezing out there.” she smiles stepping aside to let us in. Harry leads the way and I follow close behind, our hands still latched together.
“Happy birthday mum.” Harry says kissing his mom lightly on the cheek.
“Thank you baby. Hailey sweetie it's wonderful to see you. I'm glad you came with to help me celebrate my birthday.” she smiles pulling me into a hug.
“Actually mom there's something I need to tell you.” Harry says
“Yes?” she tilts her hand to the side.
