Kagami x Reader (Girlfriend)

SNEAK PEAK

You've been dating the light of Seirin High, Kagami Taiga, for almost 5 months. It's already summer and he still haven't made his move yet. And by that, I mean no kissing, touching, or anything... just harmless hugging and holding of hands. Of course, as a girlfriend, it annoyed you.

The team still has their practices and trainings even in summer, so as a good girlfriend you supported him through and through. You two walk home together and eat together when the two of you have a chance.

One day, the team had a practice match with Kaijo High. Kagami was all pumped up and shared all his thoughts with you at your home. (A/N: You're living alone in a condominium unit.)

"I bet Kise has gone even better. I mean, they're team has been practicing too." Kagami said.

You were packing your bag in your room for the upcoming practice match. Kagami was on his back on your bed while playing with your rubik's cube, which he can't seem to solve. You enthusiastically replied while packing, "Yeah! I bet too. So you better take him down, okay?"

You sat on the bed when you were done packing. Kagami threw the rubik's cube to the side Suddenly, Kagami pulled you into a hug making you lean on his chest on the bed. Kagami then ruffled your hair and said, "Of course I will. Anything for you!"

You rolled to his side and you two are now facing each other. Then things got a little serious.

"Taiga?" you said.

"Hmm?" he hummed in response.

"If you win, I'll give you a reward. Okay?" you said cutely.

"Really? Then I'll definitely win it!" He said with sureness in his voice.

TIME SKIP to the game

The game is at its 4th quarter with Kaijo at its 19-point lead. Seirin seemed to be fazed when Kaijo shut down their captain, Hyuga Junpei. But that didn't stop from Kuroko in believing.

The team managed to close the gap with a score of 52 – 40. The team was in a good phase but with the time remaining, they won't be able to beat Kaijo.

You were watching from the back and saw Seirin's hopelessness spreading. And so, Aida called a time-out. The moment she called a time-out, you rushed to Kagami's side. So you stood up and went to their bench. You sat beside Kagami with his towel on his head covering his face.

"Taiga? You okay?" You said with concern.

He nodded and even covered his face away from you, but then you remembered about the reward and so you reminded him.

"Remember what I said yesterday?" You asked as you ruffled his hair and wiped his face with the towel on him.

You knew he was crying, and you thought that maybe he was losing hope. So you gave all your girlfriend powers a go and gave him the encouragement that he needs.

"The reward I told you about." You whispered while wiping off his sweat.

He looked up to you with a sincere smile and said, "I guess I won't be able to get it. Maybe next time then."

That broke your heart a little, but that was no time to be emotional with him so you said, "I guess it can't be helped..."

He looked at you with a bit of confusion and asked, "What is it?"

"I guess, I'll have to give you a sneak peak on what you will be getting." You said with a smile.

"What do you me---" with that, he was cut off with a pair of lips.

He was shocked and happy at the same time. He melted onto the kiss and almost went to ZONE in kissing you, until you stopped him.

You could see the unsatisfied look he had when you pulled away. You too, felt like that kiss was not enough, but you giggled at his reaction and said, "It's a sneak peak! Do you want the full package?" You gave him a cute face.

He wiped away his tears, and nodded. Just then, he stood up filled with excitement and said, "WE ARE DEFINITELY WINNING THIS!"

The team got riled up and responded with a "YEAH!!!"
