WORTH IT
Sitting on the train going back to Tokyo, you closed your eyes a bit since it was a little bit noon. The bullet train seemed to be empty with few people on it. As you were listening, someone nudged from your side. At first you didn't turn because you know that there was no one sitting beside you, considering that you are not good with socializing. The second tap on the shoulder made you turn and the moment you turn, a wave of confusion washed over you and almost yelled, "Ahhhhh!!!"
The person in front of you was none other than, Kuroko Tetsuya, your childhood friend and classmate. You have been friends with him even when you two were elementary, and now that you two were at high school, you're still friends, I mean bestfriends.
You two were inseparable when you were young but time passes by and the closeness you once had is fading. You never bother to fix it because you know that he is just another person in your life that you meet and will probably go away. (A/N: Bitter reader... Hahahaha... Don't worry. "Good things happen to those who wait.")
Kuroko smiled and said, "Oh! I'm sorry, (F/N)-san. I thought you're already used to it."
You gave him a smile and said, "Oh, Kuroko-kun! I-I-I thought you were someone else." You laughed a little to assure of your forgiveness to him.
Silence fell upon you two, but it was a comfortable one. Until the two of you talk at the same time, "Why are you here, Kuroko-kun/(F/N)-san?"
Having the same question, you two stared at each other and laughed after two seconds. Then you said, "I was heading back home, after a visit from my grandparents, you?"
He looked at you with his beautiful eyes, gave you a smile and said, "Akashi-kun asked for me. He wanted to send me back with his helicopter, but I declined."
The trip was a bit long, and a long the way, people started to fill the train. And being the kind and gentle girl you are, you offered your seat to a grandmother. As you stand up, you noticed Kuroko standing up as well. He offered you his seat but you declined because a business woman took it.
The train had multiple stops so passengers come and go. You and Kuroko ended up by the door. Which made you two a little bit awkward. Then he said, "(F/N)-san, are you okay?"
You replied with little smile and said, "Yeah, a little bit stuffy, but fine."
You clutched on your bag to make you a little bit comfortable in the ride. Kuroko then grabbed your bag then you said, "Kuruko-kun, what are you doing? Are you trying to snatc-"
He cut you off by saying, "I'll hold this for you. Get yourself comfortable, (F/N)-san."
You blushed by his actions so you tried to look away. You were still holding onto your bag and then loosen it up as you nod and said to him, "Thank you!"
The next stop had more passengers entering so the place started to get really crowded. And with you by the door, people pushed and fought for their spot in the train. And once the doors closed, the position you and Kuroko were very awkward:
His right arm was over your head leaning on the door. His left hand was holding on the pole on your right side, so you were basically engulfed by him. You tried to look somewhere but he was staring deeply in your eyes, and you had nothing else to look but his face.
Then he said, "I'm really sorry, (F/N)-san. I think you are not getting comfortable with this."
You replied, "It's alright! Not everyone here is comfortable." Then a thought hit you, "Are you alright, Kuroko-kun? Do you want me to turn around, so you can... you can.. uhhmm...."
