Chapter 2: Something Sweet

Monday

Justin P.O.V:

"Dadddy daddy get up" Lilly hollered jumping on top of my bed and pushing me awake. I groaned softly.

This is what happens when you have a 6 year old daughter. My eyes slowly woke and saw Lilly sat on my bed in her christmas jumper smiling so wide.

"Daddy it's Christmas jumper day at school" She jumped happily towards me, hugging me. I scratched my eyes awake.

"I know darling. I have to work my new job today, remember I told you. We are both doing something exciting today" I explained as I got up from bed and walked to the sink and closed the door. Once out I saw Lilly sat on the bed.

"Come on breakfast time muchkin" I said picking her up tickling her sides and smiling down at her face. She reminded me everyday of my wife.

I couldn't believe she left. But a part of her is still with me. Lilly.

Lilly's laughter and smile was burning so bright. I smiled too. She was the light in my life. I love her so much. I moved on from her mother, I love her obviously but I wanted something real, every other relationship never was real. It wasn't something lasting, it was always quick nothing everlasting. That's what I wanted again. I wanted to replace the hurt I had and make myself happy.

I hated being alone and sad. I hate being pestemistic.

I put Lilly on the kitchen stools and pulled out a two bowls, plates and cups and started breakfast for the both of us.

Once I finished after putting the radio on hearing that One Direction that Lilly is obsessed with singing that song 'Perfect' that she sung so loudly. My ears.

I put the breakfast down beside her and put mine down and ate while making quiet conversation with eachother.

"Daddy?" She asked.

"Yes Lills" I replied

"Where's your work?"

"It's in Auntie Georgia's work place"

"Where the ballet happens?" She asked excitedly.

"Yeah" I replied smiling at her excited smile.

"Daddy... you have to tell me if you meet a fairy ballerina. I need to meet one" She was smiling so wide. She is such a positive hyper child. It was a breath of fresh air when there was so much injustice in the world.
