Matt and I headed downstairs to the basement he took my hand and took me into his room and then he close the door behind him turned on his microphone got up got his guitar out then started warming up with a few chords. I sat down on his blue sheets waiting for him to play. Matt started singing "if I could take away the he rain and put a smile on your face, baby I would baby I would." *he sings the whole song* The last chord ended, Matt came and sat by me and said "i've been noticing that you haven't been that happy as you were before I understand that you're having a hard life right now but we can just get through it together." I started feeling so guilty if I didn't kiss Josh in the first place or if I have an even stayed in the room room as them I wouldn't even be in the situation that I am right now. I started feeling the sensation that I should've told him, however I didn't. I was thinking that I could just slowly to get away from Josh. Finally then I realize that I was taking too long to answer so what I said to Matt was "you're the best boyfriend I could ever imagine i'm just a little bit disappointed about what happened to my parents and how much my life has change since I moved here" my phone suddenly came off of the text message. It was Josh. Matt saw it. This is when I loose my boyfriend... The text message said. "Babe where are you I can't wait to till I can kiss you again" Matt went dead silent. He got up from the bed walked upstairs and left the house. I sat on his bed and tears started steaming down my face. I got out of his room and left the house. I decided to go to Kates house, she was only friend that I had. She would know what to do. I sent her a text saying "hey I made a huge mistake, I really need your help can I come over?" Kate said "of course" I walked over to her house. I looked like a mess but, it doesn't matter. I knocked on the door and Kate let me in "Cecilia what happened you look terrible." I told he the whole story about Matt seeing the message from Josh. Once she heard the whole story she looked at me in a confused way, "but why did you kiss Josh?" I looked up her rolled my eyes and said "I don't know, I don't know it was just sudden and in the time. Matt already gave me a second chance I'm gonna loose him forever. I didn't mean to kiss him, I mean he wanted to really bad. I wish that I hadn't even had to share a room with Josh." I could tell that Kate was trying to figure out what to do.

MATTS POV-

When I left the house after I saw Cecilia's text message I went over to Jack's house I did not know that Cecilia was going to Kate's house as well which I heard their whole conversation. I was mad but I knew yelling wasn't going to solve anything if there was any chance that we would get back together we would have to sort out a lot of things. I think it would be good if we just stay friends for a little while until we get things back under control.

I went to Kates room knowing that Cecilia would be very embarrassed when she finds out that I was right outside the door. "Cecilia I heard your whole story and I'm not going to be mad at you,things happen I just think that we should stay friends for a little bit until we can even think about dating."

Cecilia got up out of the couch and gave me a hug I felt a little uncomfortable about it but I shouldn't, but I do. I looked at Cecilia and said "come on let's get home." she agreed we told Jack and Kate goodbye in we left the house our walk home was really awkward there was no talking at all.

We arrived at the house and my mom said "hey lovebirds, did you go for a walk." I told my mom "Cecilia and I are going to be friends for a while until we start dating again, we need a break".

CECILIA'S POV-

I didn't want to be in Josh's room anymore so I asked Matt "hey I don't really feel right being in Josh's room is there a chance that I can move into your room I promise I will keep it clean" Matt laugh a little and said "yeah I guess you can" I went upstairs to get my stuff Josh was in there "hey what's going on" Josh said. I quickly responded "Matt saw your text and he broke up with me and I moving into his room" Josh rolled his eyes "come on Cecilia if Matt broke up with you then why don't we just date." And snapped back at him "because Josh, I made a mistake and I will not make it worse!" Josh didn't say a word I moved the final stuff in Matt's room. I looked at the clock and it was 10:30, I should probably get to bed. I changed into my pj's and hoped into bed. Then Matt came down he said "goodnight Cecilia, don't worry about anything your safe with me."

-----NEXT DAY AT SCHOOL---

Matt's POV-

Apparently Josh told everyone about my breakup. A group a cheerleaders walked up to me "good job on breaking up with Cecilia. You are better then her, move on" they started smiling. I didn't change my emotion one bit. "Cecilia and I are just taking a break for a little while so we can get our life's sorted out!" They rolled their eyes and said "whatever, I heard you guys are sleeping in the same room also." I stared getting really mad "Cecilia lost BOTH of her parents, she had no relatives she could stay with so she is apart of my family now, and why would she sleep in the same room as Josh, who makes her feel uncomfortable. She feels for safe around me. You just jealous." They were speechless. Cecilia walked over "um hey Matt, what's going on?" I smiled and said "don't worry about this I'm just telling them that we are taking a little break and that we are GETTING BACK TOGETHER." I made sure that those girls would understand. Cecilia said "yeah Matt and I are getting back together." The cheerleader then walked away. Cecilia said bye and then caught back up with Kate. I went to the lacrosse field because that was my first period. Jack was there and we we started talking about random stuff until Cecilia's name came up...
