Missing Lover

Chapter 4

I clocked out and walked out of the doors.

I think I had a good day at work but when I go home that all turns to hell.

Everyday when I go home I have to have food ready, clean what's dirty, and get prepared for the worst.

He gets home around 6:30 and then orders me what to do.

Whatever he says, has to be done.

I unlock my car door and was about to get in.

"Ava! Wait! " I stood back up to see a lady running up to me.

It was my grandmother. She stopped to catch her breath before she spoke to me.

"What's up? "

"I just wanted to know if you wanted to come with me to see your mom. "

Fuck. If I say no she'll think that I don't like any of them but if I say yes I'll get beaten for not being home before my curfew.

Yes Dante gave me a certain time to be out and about after work.

"I don't know, I have stuff to do." of course I wanted to go but it was to risky for me right now.

"How about Thursday? I'll be less busy. " She nodded in agreement.

"Well Thursday I guess." Said while walking away.

I started my car and drove off watching the building shrink in the rear view mirror.

I walking in the door surprised to see Dante roaming around the house.

I thought I was late but it was only 5:49.

Maybe he found out somthing and I'm in trouble.

I stood there trying not to look like I was scared but in all truth I was trembling with fear.

He walked up to me and stood in front of me.

He didn't put a hand on me, he just stared at me.

I didn't know what he was gonna do and I was terrified.

He stared a for a couple of more second then turned around.

That was the most confusing thing that happened in this house.

Halfway down the hallway he stopped and said, "I ain't gon be here tonight. Cook whatever you want but just stay in this fuckin house. "

He's probaly going to go sleep with some other girl, which I didn't care nor did I have control over it.

I unfroze and slowly walked to the kitchen and grabbed some leftover pizza from two days ago.

As I was in the kitchen Dante walked out the door with his keys.

I sighed with relief knowing that I have the house to myself and wasn't going to get beat or forced to do something I don't want to.

But I can only enjoy this for tonight, because he'll be back to cause more hell.

Until then I can relax.

KYLE'S POV
Me and the boys were sitting outside at the park we go to everyday.

We play a game at night to see how much shit goes on in the neighborhood.

For a few nights nothing has really happened except we do see twins in the brick house sneak out to go party.

The house we look at more frequently is Dante's house because it's directly in front of us.

We also try to see if there relationship is real or if the rumors that we've been told about what Dante does to Ava but nothing like that has happened yet.

We seen Dante leave the house and drive off. "I wonder where he's going." Jake says looking at me.

"I bet you 20 dollars he won't come back in an hour." Kesean said trying to make a bet with Jake.

I rolled my eyes as they shook hands. "You guys are dumb."

"Well your stupid." Jake said. "Speaking if stupid, how did your date with Ava go."

I looked back at Jake wanting to slap him but Cage grabbed my arm. "There's no use dude. "

I nodded in agreement and turned back around and looked at the window if Dante's house.

I wonder how Ava is actually being treated, I wonder if she's ok. I wonder.

Hi guys tbh I absolutely hate this chapter I didn't know where to take it.

My brain has been scrambled because I have finals next week and I'm honestly not ready and I'm tired.
