Missing Lover

Chapter 9

I took the last m&m cookie off of the cookie sheet and it onto the top of the cookie Tower. "You know what, maybe we should make Oreo balls. " Everybody groaned.

"Babes we made almost every dessert known to man kind." Layla said placing her hand on her head. "And you filled up almost the entire island." said Gabby.

Maybe I was going a little out of control.

"Besides were all gonna be in the hospital if we eat this all tonight. How about we grab some snacks, watch a movie, and call it night?" Layla said putting her hair into a messy bun.

I shrugged, " An we make a buffet out of it? "

"I like your thinking." Layla said starting to pick up plates.

After a few minutes of arranging we were finally done. " Voila! The buffet is done. Let's grab some plates and do this thing. " Layla went and got the plates and handed them to everyone and we started grabbing stuff.

After the attack of the sweets were finished, the twins and Kyle got settled in the livingroom.

I stood at the entrance with my plate in my left hand, "What are we gonna do with this kitchen? "

You could tell there not used to cleaning, well you can tell that Layla wasn't used to cleaning.

She nervously bit her lip and started to ease her way out of the door. "How about we tackle this after the movie?" Half of her body was already out the door. I shrugged and sighed, "I guess. " she gave me a big smile and disappeared.

I shut of the light and started to head to the livingroom shutting the kitchen door behind me.

I walked into the livingroom to see the twins arguing over what movie they should watch, "No Avengers is better than stupid Hunger Games. " Gabe yelled to Gabby.

"Well we've already watched Avengers 10 times already." Gabby said with her arms crossed.

"I don't care what movie we watch but pick one and shut the fuck up." Layla yelled.

I put my hand on my hip, "How about we vote? " Layla is flipped over and mouthed the words please.

"OK close your eyes. " everyone closed their eyes, "Gabe... " I said watching him trying to peek. "Sorry.. "

"Now raise your hand for Avengers and wave your hand for Hunger Games. "

I felt sorry for Gabe being he was the only one who wanted to watch Avengers. "Hunger Games wins. " I said sitting down.

Gabe threw his hands up, "Not fair. " Gabby laughed at him, but she was shut up by Kyle throwing a pillow at her. "Oops. I'm sorry. " he said with a grin.

"I was getting so tired of Avengers anyway." Layla said grabbing a pillow off the couch. Gabe stuck his young put at her and she flipped him off.

I sat on the far end of the couch and Gabe sat next to me with the puppy, "Do you mind if we cuddle with you. " he said elbowing me and raising his eyebrow many times. I chuckled.

"Gabe I will beat your ass." Kyle growled. "Jealous much? " Gabe said laughing.

"No I'm jealous I will fight both of you leave her alone. " Layla said grabbing Gabe's foot. "Ow stop. "

"Shut up the movie is starting." Gabby yelled. Then it was silent.

The movie ended, Gabe was sleep on my legs and the puppy was asleep on my stomach. Gabby was cuddled up under Kyle and Layla was knocked out on the floor.

Yeah let's clean up after the movie...

I was the only one up and so was Kyle but he was on his phone and had earphones in.
